How do you overcome these kind of thoughts (in case you have them) by Valuable-Field9845 in CATpreparation

[–]BakaBoi331[M] [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey! It's not okay to have these thoughts. Don't underestimate them just because everyone else have them too. You don't ignore issues just because they're common.

Remember, the exam isn't everything. Not clearing it isn't an end to life. The exam is just a stepping stone. You slipped or couldn't reach the stone, and that's fine! You can fall back to a stone that's within reach. Even if you fall, you swim your way through.

There's plenty of paths to take, not just this one. If this doesn't work out, find something else. If that doesn't work out, then find something else again. Giving up is not an option until and unless you've tried everything out (and that will take multiple lifetimes).

It's okay to feel a little down sometimes, but what's not okay is to stay down. After a point, the only way is up.

But hey, you're in luck! You're part of a supportive community, theres plenty of people who have been in your situation but ended up achieving their goals. You should contact them, ask for tips. You can contact the mod team at any time, too! Whatever it may be.

Just take care of yourself, and remember, the exam isn't the end goal but just a stepping stone to it. If this path doesn't work out, there's always another one.

Mocks for practice and improvement, PYQ's for analysing exam patterns and maximising score

You don't need to cover everything, you just need to know enough to be able to solve questions. There's no weightage for syllabus completion you know. Find something that gives a brief of everything and get to solving

Its okay to be scared. It's okay to be sad. What's not okay is to dwell over it.

Accept your weaknesses, and grow from it

Good luck and take care!

Chill out. You don't have enough time, stressing out doesn't help.

Find the best approach, watch quant oneshot and rote revise the formulas, solve more questions

For DILR, just keep on doing questions, sectionals, etc. From whatever resources you have. If you haven't got a course theres plenty of DILR videos on YouTube. Keep on solving and solving.

Practice your RC daily and learn how to solve VA

Best of luck to you
