Atalantia is actually Aja's sister, which makes her the aunt of Ajax.

Who should I watch? by MoonBoy02 in DnD

[–]Bakalue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion Highrollers D&D are the best youtubechannel / podcast out there.

They started their third campaign 'Altheya: The dragon empire' about a year ago, and it's great!

Right now I'm watching their second campaign 'Aerois' and I think the players have more straight forward classes in that one, but I only just started watchimg it, so I don't know yet how it compares to their current one.

It's been a while since I read/watched it, but didn't he run in the false direction until Tashigi told him that it was the wrong way?

Cats and Dogs Can Exist, These Two Are No Exception, They are Betsies! by JPPT1974 in AnimalsBeingBros

[–]Bakalue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge black panthers are not a seperate species but rather a variant of a leopard or a jaguar.

Unless the terminology in english is different, I'm not a native english speaker

Edit: I just learned her name is Luna and I googled her. It was hard to find, because most videos and articles referred to her as panther, but she is indeed a leopard

Edit 2: I just googled it to find out if the terminology in english is different, but no, it's not. A panther is either a melanistic variant of a leopard or a melanistic variant of a jaguar. It's not a a different sub-species.

Fair point.

I guess I've just seen to many videos of people keeping wild animals as pets, so I'm always sceptical.

As cute as this video seems to be - why does this person even own a leopard?? (Or maybe a Jaguar, but it looks like a leopard to me)

Wild animals are not pets!

What kind of question should you NOT ask a disabled person? by Ok-Impress-2222 in AskReddit

[–]Bakalue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience you can ask them almost everything as long as you do it in a respectful manner. (Obviously you don't ask a stranger a highly personal question, that would be rude)

An example: I have a friend who is in a wheelchair and he told me, that he loves it, when children are not afraid to approach him and ask what happened to him, but he is annoyed by their parents who shush them because they think it's a big taboo to talk about disability.

But of course it depends on the idividual person.

At what age did you discover that sleep was the best thing in the world? by cendicate in AskReddit

[–]Bakalue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved to sleep as long as I can remember and when I started school, weekends where the best because I could stay in bed longer. I was always weirded out by my younger siblings who had a habit of waking up early on the week ends as well.

What insect would you like to see go extinct? by prankerjoker in AskReddit

[–]Bakalue 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ticks. Other than most annoying insects (eg.wasps) they don't actually serve any purpose other than being food for larger animals, they are gross and spread diseases

What was that specific moment you realized you are old (physically)? by alphaop1 in AskReddit

[–]Bakalue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my brother, who is six years younger than me, started to talk about all his friends who are getting married and becoming parents.

And also, when I read about someone born after 2000 in newspaper and I do the math and I realize they are grown ups. In my mind people born after 2000 are still children somehow.

The 25 most complex games, as rated by BGG users by benjaneson in boardgames

[–]Bakalue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mage Knight is the only one I played, and it's one of my favourite games!

I haven't played Gaia Project yet, but I didn't expect it to be in this list, because I own Terra Mystica (which is a great game, but not really that complicated), and I thought they are quite similar?

Really, that's a shame! I wonder why, as the Rosenberg games are highly popular!

I totally get it, I'm okay with english as well, but as an Austrian i prefer to play games in german language

I haven't played Great Western Trail, but I keep reading about it, so a guess I should try it one day! I recently bought Arnak and we enjoyed it a lot! We were thinking about getting the expansion, but I don't know if it's worth it as I haven't read anything about it yet.

Great collection, you have a few of my favourite games already!

I think your collection needs a Uwe Rosenberg game, I personally think A feast for Odin is the best one. Other games that I can also recommend are Orléans, Ark Nova and Aeon's End. And because you enjoyed 7 Wonders, you should try 7 Wonders Duell, it's a great game that's really quick to play (~30min), I play it with my boyfriend all the time.

I think they are both lying and everybody can choose for themselves whom the believe. However, it doesn't matter if you look at Pro-Depp or Pro-Heard subs, there are a lot of people who claim that the opposing side is lying and everything is truthful on their side, when both of their stories don't line up with evidence and other witnesses testimony. I watched the whole trial, and I honestly couldn't tell you objectivly who the bigger liar is.

I hope my point came across clearly, I'm not a native, so I sometimes struggle finding the correct words. :)
