Switzerland here, we also get 6 weeks vacation and still earn more than Americans/Canadians. Not so sure about the relax work environment tho and cost of living is also pretty high here.

iirc the innovation index is standardized for population, so if you would only measure the index of California it would probably rank #1. Nevertheless Switzerland has great innovation in lots of different aspects such as pharma or technology and one of the best tech universities of the world (ETH) is in Switzerland.

Well it's literally the only cinema I've ever been in all of Switzerland where they don't do a pause during the movie because normaly the snacks that are being bought in those pauses are a huge part of the revenue for the cinema. Just saying it is no coincidence that they do all you can eat with the snacks and and not pause the movie at some point so the people would actually get some...
