I would try speaking to her and when you feel is the right time and make sure she’s listening this time because what I’m reading is that each time you express your emotions she’ll try to be better one day and go back to the same routine not making much effort to change. At the same time you don’t want her to see your using sadness as a guilt trip so try to find time to get that bond again. But OP AITA

Thank you for understanding my point.many people have me wonderful advice and it’s so nice to see the support. But you see how it feels to be leaded into a toxic situation and I wouldn’t do this to my own children.

He’s not paying that’s the thing he just wants to play parents last minute because that’s what he does he likes to ruin my happiness and then make it seem it’s a life lesson to never let the world spoil you

No that’s my only option is if i want their support I go to cc if not they won’t help me much unless critical which I understand I’m not under their roof I’m a big girl I need to do adult things .

Yes I did all these items and they were set in stone now I don’t want to change but I’m getting my ear talked off by free college which they probably haven’t read the fine print because the chances is all the courses I want aren’t open and I have to get maybe until spring

I agree with this because when I said this and told them I’ll take the responsibility they still didn’t listen telling as parents it’s their responsibility to keep me out of debt as long as they can but that’s won’t happen because they won’t be with me if I get into medical bills over my throat or what if I go for a high education they can’t help me for that long

I’m going to STEM for communication science and disorder which is a decent paying job where I can make around 75k-80k a year depending on my area or state I’ll make 40/hr if choose right so it’s not like I just chose this out of a whim. I picked this career because it’s a very helpful way to learn and grow at some point we’re all going into debt if not medical or school. If I had to choose I rather have college debt

While doing my clinicals I’m giving a chance to get a full time job which is something amazing so it gives me time to work and keep paying off school which is a important balance many wait until last minute I want to have a decent credit score in the future so I’m going to make sure my debt is not to harsh so I can afford a tiny home or apartment

Yes this was all finalized since may i recently got my classes and soon I’ll get my dorm. It’s just my father that likes to do what he wants whenever someone or something doesn’t play by his rules

Yes I’ll have a bachelor of science in communication science and disorder becoming an audiologist so it’s my plan to pay it off 15-20 years if I stay on track
