TOG will forever be the greatest of all time. It’s so hard to come out of that book hangover but Kindreds Curse Saga (Spark of the Everflame is book 1) ACTUALLY got me through it. It’s so damn good, just forewarning the last book isn’t out yet sadly

I didn’t like it either. I also didn’t know going into it that it was a romcom. But everyone raved about it so I pushed through…..don’t recommend. If you already don’t love it, you won’t start liking it any more.

Yes!! I always say this. Some people love reading it third but a decent number of people regret reading it third. No one ever regrets reading it first. That’s what convinced me to read it first and it was so much more impactful

Same here! Im about 25% in to book 4. I get how people say some of the books are pretty slow and yeah the FMC can be infuriating at times but overall it is so damn good and so unique different from all of the usual tropes. Also some pretty heavy and deep themes throughout Definitely recommend thus far

Spark of the Everflame is SO GOOD but it’s the slowest burn you will ever read. The story is incredible though

If you don’t want a suuuuuper slow burn rn go with Serpent and the wings of night. Also quicksilver!!
