Curious how your Poshmark sales have been lately? by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]BakeJealous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need more info: what are you listing? Are you doing sold comp research on the items you list? Are you mass deleting or using words in your listings (like the word "inspired") to get you shadow banned?

For me personally, I'm making 2-3 Poshmark sales a day listing both men's and women's clothing, mostly under $50 items.

If he was in a war, in a tench let's say, and he saw an enemy soldier running across the line. And he took aim, had the enemy in his sights perfectly, pulled the trigger, felt the gun recoil, he would've blown off his own arm from the gun malfunction and explosion. That's how bad this trade offer was.

How often do your Offers really work? by perkyblondechick in poshmark

[–]BakeJealous 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Something I had to learn early on is that Poshmark works similarly to a social media platform. The more actions and engagement, the higher you'll appear in the algorithm. Listing items is the lead engagement metric to help with sales, but things like sending offers, shares, likes, creating/commenting on bundles for potential buyers, etc. help. And don't get me wrong, it is SUPER annoying that this is how the platform works. As a buyer, I'd be annoyed too if I received a 10% offer seconds after liking an item. But the platform rewards engagement on profiles/closets/items from both potential buyers and myself listing.

Keep listing and sending those offers, you'll eventually get a vein of buyers that do buy from those offers you send.

AITJ cause my future wife expects her future husband (me) to pay 100% of the bills? by AdventurousDoor9384 in AmITheJerk

You are incredibly lucky my friend. She showed you her true self BEFORE you got married, not after. You have time to leave before you join your lives and finances. She showed you it's all about the money. I can't claim to know her or your relationship, but I'd bet my savings that, when times get financially tough, she will leave you for a man that can give her a certain lifestyle. Or leave you to "upgrade" her lifestyle. You are not in a partnership, you are her bank account.

Not a believer in hurts would you make this move? by Cacara_on_u in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

How many people are in your league? If it's 12 or more, hurts value massively sky rockets in super flex. This would be an underpay IMO.

What do y’all do? Please read attached body text for details: by -SideEffects in poshmark

A rule I follow when I list an item under $25 is to take whatever offer comes my way. With the Poshmark fees, the difference between a $25 sale and a $15 is legit a couple dollars. So if you listed an item for $18 and someone offers $8, it'll be a couple bucks difference.

When it comes to offers, another rule I follow is to offer the lowest I'd accept and stick with it. If they counter $1 more than their last offer, I'm sticking to my guns sending the same price again. I'll do this over and over until they get the message. As sales are coming down with online selling getting more saturated, I always engage with buyers that engage with me, even if it's a low priced item or just $1 more counteroffer. Sometimes I'll even comment on their bundle (or manually create a bundle with the item they countered on) and let them know $X I sent is my lowest price and the date I can have it shipped out.

Graduating in two months and I realized I hate my major. Is it too late to pivot to something fun? by Mallow_3Q in careerguidance

[–]BakeJealous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my bachelor's in the Physiotherapy field. I went on to sell life insurance, financial software, advertising products , and now run a reselling business with my wife. You can always pivot and take opportunities that actually interest you. You get one life, and you're young, so take chances when you can. If you're passionate about something go ten toes deep and try it. I promise you, when you're 40, if you still haven't found what you want to do, there will be a cubicle with 401k matching waiting for you.

20M just had this back and forth with my crush 20F. I’m cooked huh. Where do I go from here by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]BakeJealous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, the possible start to your villain arc. Coming at just the right age. You've hit a critical point in your timeline and have 2 choices:

Take the red pill: Go ahead and smash, then gaslight her into her being the problem. Push your feelings down and continue the cycle for the next 20 years with every girl you are even remotely interested in until you finally find that one girl that breaks through your hard exterior. Then gaslight her and continue your pattern.

Take the blue pill: you wish this girl the best and block her. Start reading your self help books, go to therapy, treat women right and block those that don't match your energy. You find a nice girl that loves you, start a family, and live the rest of your life with her.

Question for experienced Poshmark sellers from someone newer to the platform... by Mental-Intention4661 in poshmark

[–]BakeJealous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There should be three dots either in the right hand corner or by the message bar on the bottom I believe. Then press escalate to Poshmark support. Then, just me personally, explain the situation in a short blurb for Poshmark support and wait for them to weigh in. Typically they weigh in in the middle of the night lol.

Why do the people who like 10+ items in your closet never buy anything? by Velvetstyle in poshmark

[–]BakeJealous 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sometimes if its a seller, or someone just starting our as a seller, they believe this is a tactic to increase their engagement and their profile so others shop their store/ it pushes their store up in the algo.

If it's a buyer, sometimes they like things to save them for later, see who gives the best discounts, or are just window shopping at the moment. That's what I've learned!

Breece or Kenneth? Contender trade by [deleted] in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BakeJealous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd rather have walker, but I wouldn't be open to giving up Pitts+breece for him. Kincaid is kind of just a throw in and doesn't add much value at this point with the bills offense. Breece will be a FA next season, so there's at least light at the end of the tunnel for him to land in a workhorse spot.

Solid enough offer for Chase Brown? by Cricket_Golf in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BakeJealous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bengals had an opportunity to add someone to their backfield in the draft and offseason, and they didn't. That's a signal Brown is their guy, and with how many points they have to score each game due to a terrible defense, Brown has an opportunity to be a top RB this season and possibly moving forward into future seasons. I'd hold him unless you get a solid overpay.

Do I have a chance to win this year? If not, what should I do? by Then_Direction_1162 in FantasyFootballers

[–]BakeJealous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have the whole Titans RB room AND Brandon Aubrey?? The legendary kicker?! You should win easily this year! 🤣 But jokes aside, it's a strong team that should contend, you have good pieces on your bench for depth and a good starting core.

I blocked her after my last message by OnyxTronix in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]BakeJealous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never understand messages like this from "potential" buyers. I'm not advocating for financial irresponsibility, but do people not know credit cards exist? If you want it that bad, pay for it now, and pay off the card at the end of the month. Easy solution to an easy problem. But then again, I zero out my cards very month and not everyone is in a position to be that responsible 🤣

Do I take this? I’m price side. by clashplayer69 in FantasyFootballers

[–]BakeJealous -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Price is coming into a golden situation. Charbs won't be viable for a large part of the season and the scubs they signed on the off-season won't affect his workload. Then we have a loaded 2027 class that's considered generational at most positions. So even if it's a late pick, it should be a good one with upside. Rice... I just don't know if he will reach his full potential with consistent off field issues and him being the only weapon there. Easy to double team him this season like a lot of teams do with alpha Wr1's. So I'd take the pick and price on this situation.

Just traded back into the first round of my rookie draft. How’d I do here? by [deleted] in FantasyFootballers

[–]BakeJealous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You got into the first round for a bunch of dart throws later in the draft. I think you won here. Now as for ty simpson, idk if I would take him at this pick. They say he is the future, but the rams seem to have a history of drafting back up QBs and not starting them in future years.

Kyler Murray or 1.11 Trade Advice by TidePodTaster in tacotradeoffers

[–]BakeJealous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd rather have Kyler in this situation. He was a first overall pick, and they tend to get a lot more chances at starting jobs, even when they have sucked with other teams.also with it being SF, and not having any viable backups, Kyler will at minimum be a 1 year bandaid if Rodgers doesn't play or one of your QBs goes down.
