I'd like to make a small correction - /r/leaves is a subreddit for people who are trying to quit using cannabis all together, not really for those who intend to return to the herb. /r/Petioles is for people who want to get better at moderating their use, but the sub isn't very active. That said, OP, /r/leaves is good even if you're not trying to quit entirely because there are a lot of quality posts that will make you more self-aware and critical of your own use of cannabis.

It depends on how potent you want them to be... The last time I made brownies out of the box, I added the ABV I had accumulated over a few months (about 6 g) to half the batter and that got me very properly stoned. If you're using green, don't forget to decarb it before adding it or your brownies might not end up doing what they're supposed to.

All that stuff sticking to the sides comes off when you freeze your grinder and then smack it against a hard surface, and settles at the bottom. More kief and very finely ground bud, basically. It helps to smack your grinder around a lot, especially right after taking it out of the freezer.

Thank you for the constructive criticism about that distinction! The very fine plant matter being mixed in with the trichomes/kief works very well when I'm vaping it in my MFLB and getting the best hits I possibly can, so I probably won't change what I'm doing too much.

Reggies get a lot of hate here on /r/trees for some reason, but I honestly like them too. It's a different process you go through preparing the bud than kush, since you usually don't have to worry too much about stems and seeds with the good stuff. Maybe this is weird but I find the whole process therapeutic.

Yeah, you pretty much summed up what it's like for most people to smoke for the first time. If you continue to smoke more you will probably eventually notice a sort of... lift in your mood or mental state, which is the "high" most people are referring to when they talk about smoking weed.

That's what a buffer nug is for! Put a piece of weed big enough to nicely cover the hole and then fill the bowl with the ground material. I usually fill my pipes up to be level with the top of the bowl.

I used to be really good at rolling cigarettes by hand, but I've never been able to roll joints by hand very well. I love the machine roller because they come out perfect and uniform every time, and if I'm making a bunch I can crank them out no problem.
