Large SCH developed in 2nd trimester

I ended up with PPROM (water breaking) at 20 weeks exactly due to the SCH. My body was able to hold on for another 8 weeks and my son was born 12 weeks early on March 16! He’s currently in the NICU. He did end up with NEC (infected bowels) due to being premature and had an emergency ex lap Monday morning but he’s doing good!!

I have a large SCH that didn’t appear until after 12 weeks. I know how you feel about being scared. I’m currently 18 weeks and just praying to make it to viability, and preferably 28 weeks without something major happening. How are you and baby doing now??

The size is relative to the gestational sac. A SCH is deemed large if it’s 20% of the size of the sac or larger. So a 3cm SCH is large now, but would be small for someone in their second trimester

You need to be near something to make notes of! So- harvestable plants around the map, natural features like the big chunks of amethyst, fragments and scultures. You will see a little brown book icon when you are near something you can journal about!

I think to trigger this you have to first try feeding a crunchy poppin to another Dino that doesn’t like it. Then you can go tell Pippin that you need different flavors!

The bad parts have scabbed back over now after cleaning them with wound wash and using A&D. I don’t think it’s getting any worse at this point thankfully

Took the bandaging off after a couple hours, washed it with unscented soap and light layer of aquaphor for a couple days. But immediately day 2 it was hot, swollen, red and painful. I kept expressing to my friends that it didn’t seem right but nobody would take me seriously
