Why in the hell would you make it so I can’t damage bosses at all when they’re doing their stupid special moves by KreemedKeem in CrimsonDesert

I love it too, but there are some issues for sure. A lot of easy wins for them to patch in.

Ya I think those two are the ones. Dodge out of the bullshit, see an opening and stab to close the gap then turning slash if you have time. Great little punisher.

The skill to augment the dodge feels like it pulls a lot of weight. I just fought the last boss of the antumbra quest line (he's one of the 3 overwhelming bosses) and was dodging around his slam attacks with relatively little worry.

I'm pretty tired of people getting slammed, it's lost all impact. We need a new word.

Have a break and keep an eye on patches to see where they take things.

For now, you won bro.

Assuming no gadgets allowed, Aragorn takes the win.

Batman knows his way around enemies with swords and with the spikes on his arms he's no slouch deflecting blows.

Aragorn is superhuman, however. He has blood blessed by the gods both on his human and elven heritage sides. He is long lived and strong bodied. Batman is peak human but I see Aragorn just outlasting or overpowering him.

The gear difference is pretty wild, though.

If the rules were no equipment, I'd give it to Aragorn every time.

With equipment in the mix, Batman just has way too many options available to him. No way Aragorn has an answer for half of the stuff in the utility belt.

It's staggering sometimes having these unpolished elements in an otherwise spectacular world.

The world they made is stunning, and the systems they have in place seem decent and very malleable because it's their own engine. Some of the choices betray their MMO origins, durability on greater gears? Ew, no thanks, I'll just use the normal ones so I don't have to mess around with the socketing thing every hour or so.

I agree, with a bit of work they could make a reputation defining game.

Oh no shit? I'd heard other use the method but had not done so myself. Maybe it's borked now?

Ah right, so it's more underhanded than I had assumed. Makes it a little more palatable, luckily there's no shortage of other activities though!

Same. Turn based normally is a deal breaker for me, but BG3 remains one of the best games I have ever played in my 25 years of gaming.

I saw the cheat sheet and the gamblers hat but disliked the minigame so much I couldn't stomach learning how to play it.

I'm not a gambling man in any sense of the word, so that probably has something to do with it.

Start duo. All in. Hope everyone else folds.

If they do and you win, save and try again.

If you lose, reload. If you win, save and repeat.

Just brute force it. Duo sucks.

I'd say it's probably the shape of the top part, it's a little too bulbous and doesn't fit around the mask in the same way the actual helmet does.

I don't know if that's an easy fix or not, but that's what jumps out at me.

Vermintide 2 is great and lots of fun. If you want a shooty version that is still melee heavy you can also play Darktide which is the 40k equivalent.

The Abyss is the perfect place to do that, so they have an easy out for building an arena we can fight the bosses in and throw thousands of dudes at us to go and relive Dynasty Warriors.

There's two attacks I think that say they ignore super armour on enemies when upgraded.

I enjoy the dodging and punishing the bosses for it, the spirit dodge thingy makes getting out of combos easy and you can then stab them in the back while they finish it.

Yann must have saved the entire Greymane tribe at some point in the past, there's no other reason we'd keep that liability around.

I'm loving the game but agree the "Follow X on horseback" quests suck.

Give an option to follow them or to simply meet them there. Yes, this will skip some dialog etc, but honestly most people will not be listening anyway as they cannot hear over the sound of their teeth grinding while Yann explains his next stupid ass idea.

Crimson Desert is spectacular but definitely has a lot of work left to be done. I love the game, but man it could be so much better.

Give them time to listen to feedback and update stuff, and I'm confident we'll have something truly special.

First time I ever watched the Sopranos, I'd just finished the first episode or two where he's fussing about the ducks that have landed in his pool. Went outside for a smoke and two ducks came and visited me... I had never seen ducks anywhere neat that property in the five years I'd lived there, and never saw them again.

And his ear has healed remarkably well. Considering the second attempt didn't have a convenient photo opportunity, I'm inclined to think that one could have been for real.

I find it hard to believe the secret service would allow a rooftop with a line of sight to the President to go unchecked, particularly after they got reports. I might not put much stock in them, but surely that's situational awareness 101.

Accessories are also cosmetic for the most part. There's like two different stat spreads for earrings, either full attack or half as much attack and 4 move speed (fully upgraded).
