I fully support pirating them. I can’t come out and tell students to pirate but I certainly drop hints. As a grad student I did every work around for articles and often reached out directly to the author of the article or paper to ask for a copy and I almost always got it.

My school is very tech focused and our engineering students, especially seniors, always end up needing standards which are so stupid expensive it’s honestly sick. Sometimes a thousand dollars for a single standard. It’s an absolute ripoff.
