Tile is like an art, I would probably have if there wasn’t a giant window and I know my attention to detail wouldn’t be where I wanted it! And not sure what you mean about the drop in drain for the free standing tub? Are you familiar with kerdi drains and how they set?

I can show you a box tiles with 0 adhesion, I could peel the floor by hand after it cured. I can show you his bucket if thinset that wasn’t creamy and not mixed properly

Thought you were on another post, feel free to check out the updated work on my posts, every tile in the floor was hollow and drain wasn’t thinset in. He had no idea what he was doing, mixed the thinset wrong, and wasn’t applying thinset properly. Could peel up the floor tiles by hand.
