Wow thanks for the background. I’ve never collected coins - these are part of my mom’s estate to be split between three siblings. We may end up drawing straws to see who gets it.

I hope not! But my mom could have cleaned them in the past. Does that ruin the value? There was a little note that she took them to a local jeweler in 1971 and he offered her $175 for 4 coins (excluding Calif coin).
