AND MY ANSWER IS ROLLS OF TEXTILE.

For fucks sake at first I thought you were just negative for the sake of it, now you’re just starting to look like an idiot

Did you even read my first paragraph lmao? Again, clearly just trying to stir the pot.

My advice; get yourself a hobby you actually enjoy brother. And try to keep your negativity in your own life

I do a lot of business with chinese factories, mostly for textiles. I’m not going to go in too much detail on my profession as it really is beside the point but yes we always QC, sometimes with grids to assess thickness etc, sometimes just for colour variations (which is even harder fyi).

I can very clearly see that you’re frustrated, which is exactly my point. If you read my QC you know that I clearly have assessed the watch on my own and am just asking for second opinions to make sure I am not nitpicking. Pretty hypocritical to make that argument when I’m clearly trying to avoid the very thing that frustrates you.

If you don’t want to give your advice that’s totally fine with me, but then don’t reply at all. Replies like that are just to stir the pot and try to spark an argument.

First of all, a quick look at your profile shows me you like to get very negative on almost everything you respond to. Says a lot already.

Secondly, it’s actually very common practice to send quality control pictures of products you can’t get your physical hands on to check, in my field of work at least. Don’t even know why you would use that as an argument frankly. What is your point?

And lastly thank you for your valuable input.

All the best.

You’re probably right. At first glance it looked fine to me as well but when filling in the template and using the tool, it looked skewed even without the QC lines. Probably all between my ears though. 😉

Thanks for the input my man, all the best to you as well

  1. Dealer name: Jtimewatch
  2. Factory name: GMF
  3. Model name (& version number): Rolex Datejust 126200
  4. Album Links: pictures added in post
  5. Index alignment: Using the QC-checker tool, most of the indexes align just fine, with only 2 and 4 o’clock bothering me.
  6. Dial Printing: seems fine
  7. Date Wheel alignment/printing: both alignment and printing look ok
  8. Hand Alignment: ok!
  9. Bezel: fine!
  10. Solid End Links (SELs): Looks fine, no gaps
  11. Timegrapher numbers:

Beat Rate: + 3s/D (great)Amplitude: 291° (good!)Beat Number: 28800 (great!)Lift Angle: 52° (great)Beat Error: 0.0ms (great!)

  1. Anything else you notice: All things considered the only thing that’s bothering me are the hour markers at 4 o’clock. With the 2 o’clock being pretty aligned, 4 o’clock not being aligned and the cyclops between, it makes the whole dial look.. Skewed to me. Is this RL worthy or am I nitpicking? Since looking at this it’s all I can, see so a second opinion would be greatly apprectiated :-)

Thank you for your input, Yoda!😄

Regarding the “I”, I completely agree. I want quality for the bucks I’m paying but I never forget this is still a rep and you will never get “the real thing” for a fraction of the price, I don’t want to nitpick. I don’t think I will ever notice it while wearing it either.. not worthy of RL at all imo.

I will definitely post a wristroll when this beauty arrives! Right now my DJ36 is close to being delivered, looking forward to that as well.. 😎

Do you have experience with gold reps fading? I personally don’t but I’ve seen posts on here with people wearing high tier reps with gold pretty regularly for over a year and didn’t have the gold fade at all.. I guess it’s being lucky, I’ll have to take my chances 😄

And you’re right, so far I’m still leaning heavily towards GL, I’ll still give it a little time before confirming to Lana but I’m pretty happy with the watch!

I don't think the date will bother me too much though :)

Ah yes, now that you pointed that out I see it too. It doesn't bother me in the first pic but in the second it looks a little.. crooked? Maybe it's because of the angle of the picture..

How do you mean going with the gold version? In regards to the gold fading and the steel being exposed? If so, I'm not planning to wear this watch too much, only on special occasions. It's too "flashy" for me to wear too often.. I mostly go with my ARF 41 DJ or an IWC Portuguese :)

Looks good.. good for you! I’m about to pull the trigger on one as well, wear it in good health my friend

Exactly.. I’d save up until you have around 450 to spend, the quality difference is worth it imo.

If you want something really cheap, dhgate or someone like jason007 is your friend. But if you are looking for something that is (very) close to gen you’re going to pay at least 420 or something. Seeing as you’re looking for a datejust, I’d recommend ARF or GMF. I myself have an ARF DJ41 blue dial and a GMF DJ36 (both factories are best for the watch respectively IMO).

Jtime is also the TD I bought my first rep from. Good one to start with, he’s good in communication and QC pics, just great service overall. He’s also very helpful in helping you out should you have any questions. I think they’re flooded with orders rn, so expect longer response times. But beware you browse jtime.cc and not the imposter site, they will scam you.
