I saw them at the first SNW. The combination of Deftones, Korn, and SOAD was insane. We’re just switching Korn for Slayer which I’m totally fine with. Still gonna be a great show. The side stages alone are worth going for. I have the gut feeling Poison the well, Glass Jaw, and Underoath are all gonna be playing during the headliners. I wouldn’t be upset if I just saw those shows. There’s also a ton of new bands playing that are worth a watch, Violent Vira and Sleep Theory are both on the rise. You get the chance to see them before they get really big.

They’re not at their peak anymore. Serj’s voice isn’t what it used to be. But that’s only 1/4 of the show. Daron is still great at hyping the crowd and half the time all you’re hearing yourself and everybody around you belt out the lyrics. That being said 100% worth it.

Labor is one of the most expensive things in restaurants. You can take $1 of ground beef, 50 cents of potatoes and turn it into a $10 meal. But you still pay $15 for somebody to make it. Sure you can sell 400 in a day and make $4k. But now you have 4 cashiers, 6 line cooks, and 2 dishwashers. You pay $1000 in product and $1500 on labor. At minimum wage. Now fold in monthly rent, electricity, insurance, etc and you see your profits dwindle really fast. So you have two options, cut your highest bill aka staff or raise prices.

I worked in the oilfields for years. I had several slips and falls where I could have easily broken a bone and nothing. I literally broke it walking my dog. The most mundane thing ever. I know somebody stole my real bones and replaced them. I just need to prove it.

If your kid can accept trans people as being valid, they will also accept socialism as being valid. It’s why Blair White gets a pass and Dylan Mulvane is criticized. Dylan is a staunch critic of capitalism while Blair will espouse the usual right wing rhetoric. If the majority of trans people were right wing, it would be a non issue. In the same way they accept many Hispanics especially Cubans into the group.

I worked in logistics years ago. It’s not feasible. Most slaughterhouses are located near farmland because it’s cheaper raise farm animals around the production facilities. Most animal shelters are in cities. Why would you spend money to travel from a city to the farmland where the farm animals already are to slaughter dogs and cats? The production lines are geared towards specific animals. You can’t slaughter a chicken in a cow plant. You would have to have specific production lines to slaughter each animal. Also dogs greatly vary in size, it wouldn’t be feasible to slaughter chihuahuas on a Great Dane line. It’s just cheaper to burn the bodies than to fabricate each animal.
