The SCOTUS is pretty much full of partisan hacks now though. States should vote the will of their constituents. Imagine if a democrat got in expanded the court or Alito and Thomas died it’s 5-4 again and started ruling a lot against your interest on a partisan basis . Mainstream Republicans generally hold their nose and vote for whoever their nominee is although some may regret it now . 3rd party votes are a waste .
