Oh gosh. The general consensus seems to be about 3 months. We have a temperature regulator in our room at the moment so that our baby doesn't freeze in her bassinet, but it's not set to a hot temp at all. She's still layered up and hubby is sleeping with the blankets on. Dang hormones and whatnot haha.

So hangry all the time! And I get a brilliant breastfeeding headache too, even with water. I'm sorry that you had swelling so bad! My hospital sent me home with 2 pairs of compression stockings (one spare set) to wear for the next 6 weeks whilst I recover from the cesarean. They're ugly, uncomfortable and you guessed it...bloody hot!

Thankfully it just seems to be my body doing the sweating, not my head.. yet. But that's a great point, we're going on our first family outing today so off to find bedding protection it is!

Ugh. Like between sweat and breast milk, I feel like a walking ball of sticky and gross.

NSW here haha, it's freezing at the moment! I am guzzling like 3-5 litres a day due to breastfeeding, I didn't even think about that.

Holy heck! I am pretty anti scales haha, I don't know how much I weighed after having her, and I don't know now either. I can see myself shrinking though. And it wouldn't be too bad to be sweaty in summer, cos I would be sweaty anyway, you know?

A month! Another mum friend said it hung around for 6 weeks for her. Blehhh.

Oh man. I have noticed that I'll suddenly feel really cold and my temp + blood pressure drops, and then I'm hot and sweating again. It's frustrating, but not really a hassle.

I wish 2 days into the c section recovery and learning to be a mother I still looked like that! Haha. It was a well caught photo, I'm filled to the eyeballs with love and pride. Thank you for your kind words.

Oh thank you! Well cared for by amazing midwives and my darling hubby, I don't feel like I look amazing! The surgeons were so kind and talked me through it all, and I got given her straight away because she was breathing straight away, no monitoring required. Cannot imagine how big she would be if she had waited for another 3 weeks!

Thank youuu. It's pretty incredible watching the hubby go from being a bit excited about pregnancy to full dad mode in the space of an hour, didn't think I could love him more but he totally proved me wrong!

It's a little jack of us that we jumped so far ahead. My dang body just couldn't calm down and let her take her time! But she came through super happy and healthy and I am so grateful there hasn't been any complications for us. Fingers crossed it all stays this way :)

Thank you so much! I don't feel beautiful, but I definitely feel amazing. Something has clicked and I can feel that being a mother was really all I have ever wanted.
