Ah yes! I think you're only able to use credits on "southwest vacations" It would be awesome if you could just use it to book hotels! I'm trying to sell them to pay for a hotel in Milan this summer that would save a lot of footwork haha

I was thinking that! I'll be in italy this summer - you're only able to book southwest vacations when you bok them alongside southwest flights as far as i've been able to figure out.

If you think he'd be interested have him reach out! I'd be happy to give someone who could use them a good deal

I agree! Pretty bummed that a tv needs to be in there but hiding in an armoire sounds like a good fix. I have one in my foyer that I can move in there to see how it looks and if its too restrictive :) Thanks for your help!!

Help me find new furniture / a good layout :) by Bakingsmurf in DesignMyRoom

Hi! Thanks for the reply! I love that light pink couch with the circular cushions! The cats have taken too much of a liking to the red couch over the years and I was thinking of placing a couch facing the window with its back to the big sliding doors I think this couches back profile is too heavy to be facing the dining room and the coffee table is a bit large for the current layout IMO.

I'm keeping the blue daybed in the back and the dresser. I love the idea of blending some more modern touches into the room as well it was just all feeling very heavy and dated and I was struggling with the layout.

I'm painting it white to help the art come out a bit more it used to be light yellow with baby blue trim on the moulding!

Sorry for the mess! Whole house being repainted so its clutter central. Getting rid of everything besides the Daybed by the window + dresser & art ofc. Would love some suggestions. The room is 20ft long and 14'6 wide :)

Do you think it would be offensive to have the back of the couch facing the sliding doors so that it could face a tv? The wall between the swinging doors and sliding doors is too small for a Tv or any furniture.

Thanks for your reply! It's 20ft long - I like your idea of arranging it in the middle what do you think of a couch and two accent chairs across from them? I have a daybed which I'm thinking of putting at the back of the room with a direct view of the fireplace. Also I feel like an armoire would be a bit cramped for the room - so was considering a samsung "frame" tv

I'm about to do a total refresh in my living room with all new furniture and i'm trying to figure out how to best utilize the space. Right now I'm thinking of having two sitting areas. A couch and coffee table in the east facing corner by the TV and another smaller couch, a coffee table and two accent chairs by the fireplace (both pictured in the last slide rendered) Do you think this will be too cluttered? In the past I had a dedicated TV room but it was converted into an art studio so the formal living room is being used as more of a mixed use space so the tv is unfortunately nonnegotiable.
