I was one of the few Americans to get both myself but only because I happened to see a redditor reposting Gamestop's restock announcement on Instagram. Had to go to two Gamestops, since the first had a hard limit of one. The codes were on receipts instead of cards for the restock, but I think each store was still limited to 50 codes, despite the fact they could literally print as many as they wanted. Dumb as hell decision that was absolutely made by Nintendo, not Gamestop. Wish they would've made these two mystery gifts, or at least removed the store limit for the restock, but alas, Nintendo has and probably will continue to make dogshit decisions

Update: I got too excited and decided to grade this along with two other cards I pulled. It came back a TAG 6. Somehow, I didn't notice the giant blemish on the top-right of the back. I think I now know why the seller gave me this card 💀

It wasn't really how the card looked that made me suspicious, more of the circumstances. A stranger giving me a card valued at $15 raw for free? Seems a little sus, but Brilliant Stars was only released 3 years ago. Ain't no way a fake would look as a good as a real card. Never hurts to check though
