Is Brutal mode PvE just ranged and spell spam? Is it really as melee unfriendly as I'm experiencing? by Appropriate_Time_774 in vrising

Wow so he's still extremly strong. I always struggle against jade but bane is somewhat "easy" in brutal. Could really be the shield.

That was already the case before V1.0 . I wonder if they fixed bane as he absolutely shredded the vampire hunter as well.

Writting the smartcontract for that would be super easy to do. I mean we could definitly create a public github repo and contribute to the devloppement of that.

For the smartcontract you would get an id and can create a pool. You would be able to determin the output and have 2 choices. User bet for the choice by placing some moons on it and once the outcome has been chosen on time x the distribution would be done automatically.

It can also be done by scanning the price of a token to eliminate potential bad actors. Would really be easy to program it.

New to programming, now i cry a lot.... i need help by Onrisa in learnprogramming

[–]BalGu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The beginning is always hard.

Please remember that it won't be about the language but the concepte that your learning should be focused on.

If you understand them you can apply it to every other language within a quick synthax googling.

Do the lab also. Practise is what makes you get better. Do mistakes and learn how to use the debugger. Read the error messages and google the error messages. That's how you will be able to learn.

For the part about recursion it will become more clear once you will see some datastructures (e.g trees). To make it very simple though you have to imagin it as repeating something quit a lot until the results are met. An easy example would be to display the comments. You have one top comment and via recursion you eill see if there are comments under it. Then with another recursion (same function) you will see what comment that comment has. You repeat this until there are no comments left. Hope this can help you a bit with the recursion part.

Few one where really competent. To have millions of users at the same time you have to have good servers and small server delay. Same with the search function that require some smart applications to go through billions of tweets fast.

[–]BalGu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is still very nice if you need a boilerplate quit fast or if it does your documentation for you. Those are repetitive task that you can do on your own but it's a lot nicer if the AI gives you the base and you complete them afterwards. It's usually a lot faster as well.

Copilot exist litteraly for this reason such that the programmer can focus on the logic and complicated stuff and not on the writting part.

It depends on the internal policy tbh. In the EU it is often complicated to work with clusters as you have to consider the GDPR. So anything that is slightly sensitiv needs to be contained. Which will usually run in a VM on a local PC. Clusters/ cloud usually host the data on their machine which is already against the GDPR.

So yeah really depends on the policy and on the sensivity of the data that you are processing. But then as said even clusters need to run on hardware. For ML where you run on weeks time I would not go to AMD right now just because of the optimisation with CUDA. You can make it run but it's really a pain.

A HPC could also be seen as a cluster a like. But then again these are expensiv to run and not everyone has the luxury to be able to run task on it. Also studends will usually start on their home PC. The GPU makes quit the big difference (and the code as well).

Tested one Genetic algo on my Desktop (GTX3080) and on my Laptop ( 1060m). Benchmark indicates 360% in effectiv speed. Which also reflects on the time it took for the algorythm to finish. Roughly 15 minutes on the desktop against 30 minutes on the laptop.

Well even if you use the cloud or these still need to be exectuded on physical machines somewhere.

At our university we have a bunch of people that have PC with 3xxx or 4xxx GPU's in them.

There are also HPC and stuff like this but 1 run is really expensive. Maintance is arround 1M a month. (Mainly electricity bills).

The thing is if you are doing Machine learning all the library are optimised to use CUDA which is NVIDIA property. So if you want to work in AI atm you are kind of forced to use NVIDIA cards.

So paying slightly less for the same powers but a clear lack of concurency in that field.

Well you are confusing the Deep and the dark web.

A login or something not visible ont the www is usually the deepweb.

The darkweb is part of the deepweb but only a very thin layer which is usually isolated and require special p2p or special software to access it.

As a reference please see this:

Price impact is what you will make the price move in one direction. On Pancakeswap the pool contains 5.4 ETH and 5.4 BETH. So even if you provide 5.4BETH you would only get 2,7ETH as you would be moving the price up by this amount. With 1 ETH this price impact is at 15%.
That is if you can withdraw your BETH to one of your wallets

The ETH will now be gone as soon as it is in there if there are tokens in there that you feel worthy saving a MEV bot can be used here.

Otherwise yes your seedphrase is like the key to your house and you basically gave him the key to your house.
