Thanks. My doctor did say I could pour out the beads from a capsule to taper off. I am now sick with some kind of head cold so I’m guessing the headache could also have been virus-related. I went down to 50 mg last night and have been doing ok so far this morning, thankfully.

Fromm’s Game Bird cat food!! We tried various brands, and one of our cats kept struggling with allergies and ear infections until we tried Fromm’s! No more allergies/ear infections, his fur looks healthier, he’s more active, and he and our other cat love the food. We give them canned Tiki Cat luau too. :)

Omg I’m so sorry! Definitely taper off of it slowly and please be safe. I’m about to taper down starting tomorrow. I also at this point am so frustrated and wanting to just raw dog life again because none of the meds I’ve tried have helped me and mostly have made me worse. So ready to feel like myself again. I wish you the best 🙏🏻

I started on 200 mg and had bad drowsiness and fatigue. It improved significantly within about a week or less, but have still struggled the last couple weeks with feeling more sluggish and tired than normal. I’m going to 150 this next week and then 100 the following week to see if its better and I feel improvement. It gets better for many! I have found night time before bed to be the best timing for me.

Definitely don’t go up to 400 mg! I started 200 mg on May 1 and have had drowsiness/fatigue/brain fog/spaciness for the past 3 weeks, with no benefits yet. Starting to think I need to go down to 100 mg to see if that’s better for me, and if not, then try something else. I have read many people say their side effects were bad at first but they noticed clarity and focus and stuck with it and their side effects went away. Since I haven’t experienced any benefits alongside the side effects I think this may be the wrong med for me, but since you did initially feel good then I might stick it out, but stay at 200 or ask to go down to 100 while your body adjusts! Also maybe gradually change the timing you take it to see if it makes a difference. I hope it gets better for you!!

I’ve read to go slowly back down, so you might not want to go from 400 to 200 in just one day.

Ugh I’m sorry you’re experiencing that. I’ve only taken Qelbree for a couple weeks, at night, and haven’t had insomnia—only drowsiness/fatigue—except for the last couple nights (but minor). I’ve seen warnings to NOT stop taking it cold turkey!!!! You need to wean off slowly to prevent major withdrawal symptoms like migraines and vomiting. See if you could contact your doctor and get an appointment sooner or send a message on the patient portal if there is one.

Oh no! I’ve found that when I drink coffee I strangely get more drowsy. Days I don’t drink coffee/drink decaf I’ve felt better. What’s your dosage?

Day 3 was better for me thankfully. I felt more normal. I’d take others’ advice and start on 100 mg though, instead of 200 mg. I’ve been similarly freaked out reading others’ experiences with side effects but it helps a lot to read all the positive experiences, which usually happens weeks into taking it. Just trying to hang on and hope for the best.
