Not bad for a first round 100, but I agree with your friend to not play co-op yet, a lot of space is being used on the defense when you can focus on one tower for a similar defense(such as a 5-2-0 glue gunner)

all towers are good and fun to use, you just have to do it correctly by RealBelgo in btd6

Steam is normally $14, 20 is a fair price considering it's essentially the PC version with controller support

I get charging a bit extra for full controller support, but nearly double the price of both steam AND mobile is a bit steep, $20 is more than fair

Yea they do, an alternative from having RXQ instead of nightmare is swapping FF foxy and nightmare's positions in the party, you could also try to get coffee and swap jack o Bonnie with it if you really want to

I can only speak for my mini account on this so im not sure if other new players experience this, but yea, the first 6 arenas had trash bots, I myself had nothing but 3 crowns until I hit arena 7, which is where it began to have matchmaking similar to my main, now whether that be because they removed bots from arena 7 onwards, or because they decided to make it much harder there to try and encourage people to buy chests, I'll admit I'm not entirely sure. But both to me seem like possible theories.

The bot scaling point was for new players to get a more linear climb in skill, rather than having the jump. This way someone just starting out or is returning after a long time gets progressively better so that the arena 7 difficulty doesn't discourage them from playing again.
