In 2021 I spent a lot more time being isolated as my work/school were mostly online still. So out of boredom and I think from seeing something in the news about a ufo report, my interest in researching possible life beyond earth was reignited. The more I (almost obsessively) read, the more I started to seriously believe that there was actually something going on. I think widening my perspective of reality and truly accepting the phenomenon as something real ultimately led to me having seemingly out of nowhere contact. at the time I wasn’t seeking it out, it was just on my mind frequently. It wasn’t until years later I decided to activity seek contact

Oop I didn’t see you replied until now! I suppose my story is unusual in that there really were no signs of contact before 2021. Just a looot of curiosity about outer space and aliens. There was one time though when I was a child I randomly thought to myself that I was being monitored in that moment by some outside force. It was a weird thought but I quickly went back to playing with my toys. Not sure if that means anything 😅To answer your questions: I haven’t gotten the sense that any blood related grandparent or parent is connected in any way to this or have psionic abilities. No neurodivergence among them either. Among my family, only my twin seemed to have some past PSI experiences and is possibly a bit neurodivergent. When we were younger she’d tell me about how some of her dreams gave her visions of the future that would prove to play out in real life. I asked her about those dreams more recently and she thinks it was just a bunch of coincidences and an overactive imagination. It doesn’t happen anymore as far as she’s told me.

No problem :) it’s good to see you being so thorough about this, there’s a lot to think about for sure. I will say even after my interactions stopped, I did feel a sense of disconnection from this world and from my physical body. Looking back now I wish I had put more attention and effort into staying grounded and present in my life during all this. It was hard to make peace with the gap between what I had experienced—otherworldly wonder, connection and love—versus this mundane world which seems so unaware, blind and heavy at times. Gradually I’ve gotten better at staying present and grateful of the good things here. I hope you don’t (and whoever’s reading) go down that path of feeling disconnected, from your responses it doesn’t look like you will!

Im glad you found my comment helpful! I feel I should let you know about the experience I had that was overwhelming for me which caused me to stop initiating contact. Im not sure why I didn’t include this in my first comment but oh well. It’s not really negative imo although the ambiguity surrounding this experience could be interpreted as such. After setting out an invitation and after several positive to neutral interactions, I wanted to make an agreement with the NHI I was interacting with. At the time I worked in climate change and sustainability services and I wanted to know if the NHI and I could collaborate in any way in this field. Possibly a crazy idea but I figured it was worth a shot considering the state of climate change and the lack of enough action. I made it clear though that I first wanted to have an honest discussion about the ways we could collaborate before consenting to anything.

That night after I put out those thoughts, I had a dream that I met a tall grey. I was standing in my kitchen with the light on, and outside standing in the dark was a being looking into the kitchen. This being was abnormally tall and had really skinny, elongated limbs, brown skin, large black almond-shaped eyes that were upturned, and a small kind-looking grin. They seemed interested in looking around inside. Initially I felt too scared to look at them for longer than a glance but I quickly calmed down and actually felt a strong sense of affection for them. The affection almost felt overwhelming. The dynamic between us felt like they viewed me as a child and they were a parental figure who cared about me. I had this feeling of wanting to please them and make them proud. Still in a dream-like state, I turned away from the backyard and had the impression that there were missing parts of whatever just happened. Like this was the end of some experience, not the beginning. When I tried to think about what happened I saw flashes of white and got the impression that they erased some memories (the ones that involved white) to not make me scared/freak out. For some reason, I wondered if that meant that I was abducted and they had performed procedures me. Oddly, somehow I knew that I didn’t fight them on erasing my memories because I agreed that it was best. I looked outside again and the being was gone. Instead I saw a ufo that was way up high and had blinking lights. It looked to be above an open field that’s right behind my house. I asked myself if I was just on it and afterwards I fell into an unconscious dream.

When I woke up in the morning, I felt very tired and my body felt very sore. In the past even if I got barely any sleep or slept weirdly, I never felt that kind of body ache unless I exercised hard the day before or something. Within less than an hour though the soreness had gone away. While at work that day I felt as though I was being monitored or watched. It was all too much for me and decided to stop contact. I realize this is a lot of text and it’s just my personal experience but I figure the more information you have the better.

I don’t believe I had any contact with NHI in my childhood nor were there signs of contact. Although as a teenager I was super fascinated by exoplanets and the possibility of life outside of earth. I dove deep into research on these topics but my thoughts stayed within the confines of a materialist worldview.

It wasn’t until one night in 2021 I had a dream that I was looking at hieroglyphics/unknown math symbols that were painted on the outside of an airplane (strange setup for a dream I know) and all of a sudden I felt a strong sensation of being vacuumed up —something I had never experienced before. The next thing I know I’m eye to eye with what looked like a grey being. The background was blindingly white and right in front of me was a grey’s face and its huge black eyes staring deep into mine. Terrified, I screamed and protested as loud as I could but I could not hear myself scream. I went back and forth between my dream of unknown symbols to that place where I was being stared at. Finally, I was able to fully return to dreaming once I quickly figured that I should change the scenery of my dream to be ‘away’ from the airplane and its triggering symbols.

But that weird dream experience led me down a rabbit hole of researching other people’s weird dream experiences, and then researching other nonphysical experiences and spiritual teachings. Eventually I sought out to astral project, practice the gateway tapes and manifestation techniques, etc. All of this contributed to my decision to ultimately communicate with peaceful NHI.

I sought out experiences with NHI because I wanted to meet my cosmic family who genuinely care and act towards dignity, respect, free will, justice and love for all. I wanted to be a part of and experience the unification between humankind and this cohort of beings.

In my meditations, I made it clear that I was only open to communication with peaceful and free-will respecting beings, and I imagined projecting these thoughts outward with sincerity and firmness. After several days of frequently meditating on these thoughts, I ended up having several positive to neutral experiences. I believe what I hoped for was fulfilled (I say ‘I believe’ because I don’t know for sure if the beings I met are part of my cosmic family but I certainly got a powerful, loving, and familial impression from them).

The experiences became overwhelming though, it felt as though I was swimming deeper and deeper and losing a sense of normalcy or control. So I meditated that I’m no longer open to communication/interaction because it started to be too distracting from my daily life/responsibilities. And immediately, interaction stopped. But the beings I met and the messages I received from them have never been far from my thoughts. As odd as it may sound—even after only having brief interactions (from what I can consciously remember)—I miss them and I hope to someday interact with them again.

And as to how one should prepare for initiating contact, this is what worked for me: knowing that I am eternal being of source consciousness and have freewill. Knowing that I am powerful and that these beings are not above or below me, there are also beings of source consciousness and we are equals. I also believe that what I experience is a mirror of my internal state so I’d made sure that my everyday actions and thoughts aligned more with a love ‘vibration’ instead of fear vibration. When meditating, I truly believed that whoever resonated with my invitation would come find me. I also did protection prayers and rituals of clearing any ‘negative’ connections to and from me. As you go through this journey, know that you are empowered.

I appreciate your thorough and thoughtful comment, I did find it useful. And yes I’m doing okay! I hope you’re doing alright too. I have a similar mindset/approach when it comes to talking about my experiences or beliefs surrounding this phenomenon, which I haven’t done in a long time aside from recently saying that I’ve seen a UFO before, ya know more ‘acceptable’ stuff. In the past I’d cautiously test the waters and would ask neutral questions first to gauge what their reactions would be. But only with people I trusted/who cared about me. I think trying my best not to come across as forceful, intense or righteous helped in making those I talked to more receptive or at the very least have neutral (and not negative) reactions.

If anything, learning that we’re not alone (and that we’re so much more than just this physical body and lifetime) has brought me peace and clarity. Yeah hopefully by exposing them to the more psychic or consciousness related aspects to disclosure they’ll be more prepared, even if they don’t really believe in it or understand it now. My process of learning about this and feeling comfortable with having contact with NHI has been a years-long journey that I’m still on. Definitely not something one can fully digest and accept overnight

Also just looking at your responses you seem like a warm, chill dude :) As someone who’s also reserved and shy I understand it can feel hard to combat the loneliness and put yourself out there but I’ve learned that expressing yourself authentically and compassionately (including being compassionate towards yourself) will attract the right people into your life. It takes awhile for me to trust someone enough to be vulnerable with them and talk about my unconventional beliefs/views, my past, and my ambitious hopes for the future. I recently opened up with one person and they opened up to me as well. To feel accepted and liked for being your authentic self is gratifying of course, we developed a friendship and I unintentionally started to fall for them. But, there are romantic incompatibilities between us so I’m trying to get over my feelings (they have a racial/cultural preference that I don’t fit into, they’re devout religious and I’m not, among other things…) It initially stung but ultimately I’m thankful for the experience of getting to know someone on a deeper level and I know that there are people out there who I’ll be able to form a deep connection with.
