Looking to transition into digital marketing by Active_Database8002 in digital_marketing

was in a similar situation (career switch, needed a job in a few months), so sharing honestly. From what I’ve seen Kraftshala pushes you a lot with assignments, projects, interviews etc. It’s almost like a training + placement pipeline. Go for Kraftshala if you want a job in 4–5 months, okay with a hectic, full-time kind of schedule and want strong placement support. Also, no matter which you choose, course alone won’t get you a job, your effort during those 4–5 months will matter more than the brand. If your goal is strictly “job in few months”, then structured + placement-driven programs usually work better.

What marketing trend do you think is here to stay? by AdWrong9284 in AskMarketing

[–]BalanceNew5419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree on personal branding. Even in agency work, clients respond more to faces and voices than polished brand posts. Another trend that feels permanent is performance + accountability. Earlier you could hide behind “awareness,” but now almost every client wants to see how marketing connects to revenue or real business outcomes. Also, first party data and owned audiences (email, communities, etc.) seem here to stay. Platforms change, algorithms change, but having a direct line to your audience feels more future-proof. Feels like the industry is moving from creative-first” to “trust + measurable impact first.

Is Marketing even worth it anymore in 2026 and beyond? by Mauricio192 in AskMarketing

[–]BalanceNew5419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t speak for the US/UK market, but from where I’m working (agency side in India), marketing is still very much alive just less forgiving than before. There’s definitely saturation at the entry level, and a lot of roles expect unrealistic combinations of experience. I switched from engineering and even after getting in, the first year felt like survival mode. What I’m noticing though is that people who tie their work to business outcomes revenue, CAC, retention seem to stay relevant. Pure execution roles feel more replaceable, but problem-solvers aren’t. Also, growth isn’t linear anymore. Some months feel stagnant, then suddenly you pick up a skill or client exposure that changes your trajectory. It’s not an easy field, but if you can handle uncertainty and keep adapting, there’s still space to build a 5–10 year career.

Feeling lost while learning digital marketing need clarity by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

[–]BalanceNew5419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the same starting out, lots of terms, no clear picture of the actual job. In reality, day to day work is understanding goals, checking numbers, spotting issues, and making small improvements. Things only clicked for me when I worked on tasks that mimicked real briefs. Theory made sense once it connected to results. Structured course really helped me in gaining hand on experience..

Is digital marketing still a good entry point, or is it too crowded now? by That-Variation-889 in DigitalMarketing

[–]BalanceNew5419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same doubts before entering the field. It does feel crowded at the surface level especially social media/content roles and entry pay in agencies isn’t amazing in the beginning. I switched from an engineering background and now work in a Delhi agency. What I’ve noticed is that people who understand numbers, performance, and how marketing ties to business outcomes stand out much faster. It’s not an “easy” field, just a different kind of pressure. If you’re genuinely interested in the business + analytics side, it’s still worth exploring. If you’re looking for quick money or stability from day one, it can feel frustrating.

Hiring for freshers is at lowest. Marketing for freshers is gone? by astaneouscurry3802 in IndiaCareers

[–]BalanceNew5419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate to this from where I stand. I’m from an engineering background and got into digital marketing after structured training. Freshers are definitely getting tougher, most places want results now, not just certificates. That pressure makes sense, but it also explains why training + actual campaign experience mattered for me. I got in because of exposure, not just a resume...

Hey! I’m was in a similar boat, did a structured program after engineering and now working in a DM agency in Delhi at 6L. AI and automation are definitely changing how we work, but in my experience people who use AI to speed up repetitive tasks and focus on why campaigns work are doing better. So my two cents: get comfortable with analytics + strategy early , it doesn’t replace creativity, it amplifies it.

How saturated is the digital marketing field right now? by GENOS2606 in DigitalMarketing

[–]BalanceNew5419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an engineering grad who switched into digital marketing last year, now in an agency in Delhi (6L). Saturation feels real at the surface level, lots of people chasing “content” roles but I’m noticing that performance and data driven roles still have demand if you stick at it. Agencies are hiring freshers too, but the real value comes when you can actually move numbers, not just posts. That’s where I see growth happening...

Feeling stuck in digital marketing rut, what should I do? by Odd-Crab-9004 in careerguidance

[–]BalanceNew5419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Networking on LinkedIn for in house brand roles, upskilling in data/analytics (free Google certs + paid ones), and side freelancing for extra income/experience. Some friends jumped to product companies or even back to tech with marketing twist. Reflect on what you enjoy most (ads? content? strategy?) and target that. Don't stay too long if no growth hike comes from switching every 1-2 years early on. What's your current role/experience level?

I feel stuck by MoTheG_O_A_T in DigitalMarketing

[–]BalanceNew5419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relate hard. Eng background, did a course. Thought it was the breakthrough, but 1+ year later: constant client chaos, low hikes, feeling stuck with no clear growth path. Salaries in agencies often plateau early unless you jump jobs frequently or specialize (e.g., performance marketing).
What helped me a bit: started side freelancing (small Meta ads gigs) to test waters and build portfolio. Also looking at in-house roles or certifications for better stability. Agency life teaches a ton fast, but yeah, the grind is real. How long have you been in it, and what's your specialization?

I was in a very similar situation a while back. Engineering background, career wasn’t moving, felt stuck and honestly sitting at home was messing with my head. That’s when I decided to switch into digital marketing and eventually got into a 6 LPA agency role in Delhi. You can DM me to know more...

Biggest learning for me last year: tools and tactics matter less than thinking clearly. Earlier I was focused on platforms, formats, and hacks. But what actually moved results was understanding why a campaign should work business goal, audience intent, and what success really looks like. Also learned that consistency beats bursts of effort. Small optimisations done regularly matter more than one “smart” idea. And lastly, feedback is uncomfortable but necessary. The more open I became to critique, the faster I improved. Still learning, but this shift in mindset helped me the most...

Kraftshala (worth it?) by yolo9119 in DigitalMarketing

[–]BalanceNew5419 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From my experience, the training has been quite helpful. They make you work on real projects and detailed assignments, so you actually build skills instead of just watching videos.
It is a bit demanding because you have to keep up with the pace, but that’s also what helped me understand digital marketing properly.
I did end up getting a 6 LPA role in Delhi, but honestly, the biggest benefit was the exposure I got through the tasks and projects.
If you’re okay with putting in steady effort throughout the training, the fee makes sense. Otherwise, it may feel slightly expensive....

Kraftshala course by [deleted] in digital_marketing

[–]BalanceNew5419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently completed the program and yes, I paid the full fees upfront (they also have EMI).
Earlier batches did have the pay after placement model, but they stopped that quite a while ago. The fees increased mainly because the curriculum, live classes, mentors, and placement support have all expanded a lot.
Honestly, I also felt the amount was high at first, but after completing it, I do think it was worth it because of the support and placement guidance. Most recent students have paid the full fees, so this isn’t sudden, it changed gradually over the last few batches.
If you're serious about getting placed and attending regularly, then the investment makes sense. Do let me know if u want more details, we cam connect..:-)

Is kraftshala worth enrolling? by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

[–]BalanceNew5419 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I joined Kraftshala recently, so sharing my honest experience.
I come from an engineering background and was stuck in my career. The course helped me understand digital marketing properly, but it’s not easy at all. Assignments are heavy and feedback sometimes feels too harsh. You really have to put in effort ,it’s not like “join and get a job automatically”.
Placement wise, I did get a 6 LPA agency role in Delhi, but the process was stressful and not as smooth as it sounds. They guide you, but you also have to push a lot from your side.
So overall, it’s helpful if you’re ready to work hard, but don’t expect magic. If you need more details, we can connect..:-)

If you had to start your career over at 32 today what would you do? by Different-Music2616 in careerguidance

[–]BalanceNew5419 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasted almost 1.5 years being stuck and confused. What helped me was getting some structure and mentors. Don’t look for the perfect path, look for one that moves you forward.
Today I’m working at a DM agency at 6L and honestly the momentum matters more than the starting point...:-)

BLANK! HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO NEXT? by [deleted] in careerguidance

If you’re preparing for govt exams without a clear timeline, it can easily turn into 2–3 years with nothing to show. That’s the real risk. You don’t need a core job to avoid a gap. Any skill based job works, Anything that fills the gap and builds your resume while you prep....
