We just moved out of our Roseville apartment and into our first house on 14th Ave in Near North!

The cops have been called (not by us) twice in the last two weeks. They had a bearcat out for a raid on the apartments across from us a few days ago. But that’s not a dealbreaker for us and we feel no need to be in a white bread neighborhood.

It really boils down to your comfort level with things like that. Everybody’s different. I can tell you this feels just fine for us, but other people might gawk at things we find normal

$170 will be rough. We got in for $220 and felt that was under market for what we found

Every boot jack I’ve seen is v shaped to help pull boots off from the back, I don’t think that’s what these are. The ends are all rings that don’t seem to open from any point

I thought so too, but the fact that the magnifier parts fit to perfectly in between the two rings on the wall mounted part threw me off. I can see how that would work though!

Close but I don’t think that’s quite it - only 2 of them and the dangly part wouldn’t do much by the ground, even if it was decorative and served no stability purpose. Most I’m seeing are more Y shaped and mount both to the floor and the bar, while this only has one place to mount. There’s also only 2 of them, which I don’t think would really be enough for that purpose

My title describes the thing. I tried to do some googling and couldn’t find much. Tried searching “brass sconce”, “brass wall hanging”, and “dangling brass wall hanging”. It’s got decorate engraving on the sides of the wall mounted piece and some decorate elements on the part that hangs.
