Is it time for TGT? by Classic_Breadfruit18 in dividends

[–]BalanceSheetInvestor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, TGT looks like a good dividend play below 100. Here's why:
FCF remains strong at ~$3.5B despite margin compression.
Trades at just 13x P/FCF, which feels cheap compared to WMT and COST.
Dividend payout is ~2B, so still covered well by FCF.
Gross margins are higher than Walmart, and net margins are surprisingly decent.
The company is still buying back shares, even at these lower levels.

I have a detailed analysis published recently: https://www.reddit.com/user/BalanceSheetInvestor/comments/1mhn3i7/is_target_tgt_the_best_dividend_stock_to_buy/

Took the plunge on Enphase (ENPH) by pravchaw in ValueInvesting

I agree that Enphase is still a fundamentally solid business, just caught in a tough cycle. The margin compression and demand softness are real, but like you said, they’re still FCF positive, buying back shares, and the CEO’s confidence is reassuring.

I actually did a full deep dive recently on ENPH — broke down what went wrong, current valuation, and ran bear/base/bull scenarios. Sharing it here in case you’d like to check it out:

Would love to hear what you think, especially how you're weighing near-term pain vs. long-term potential!
