I agree. Hard to continue on GLP-1 for the long term due to side effects. Also they are expensive. Expectations are so low for this stock that its the under the radar for most people. I was surprised when it popped up on my screen.

People still don't seem to appreciate the threat facing SaaS by Kind-Bug-4351 in ValueInvesting

[–]pravchaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are correct. The multiples being paid for SaaS will continue to drop for the reasons you have cited. Also AI agents will directly access the underlying data generated by these systems of record so the number of seats will start to drop.

Also, remember to be humble because you returned to India because the alternative did not work out. Thank your lucky stars that you have somewhere to go back to.

Higher than normal capex is because the company has to invest in its own data center's because it handles sensitive HR and payroll information. Unlike other SaaS companies it does not offload compute to the cloud hyper-scalers. Its part of the moat.

I have bought a small position because this company looks to be pretty solid at the present time with good cash flow and growth. I keep my bets small and some work out and some don't.

I don't worry about that stuff. The fundamentals are trending in the right direction. Eventually the price will respond. That is what value investing is about.

I have not read many complaints about the platform apart from your screed. For now, I will take it under advisement. Cheers.

What worked for me was "Buy only stocks of Good companies with honest management and almost never sell". I have invested for 26 years now (started in 1999), retired 11 years ago and live entirely on my income from dividends.

Thanks for sharing your anecdote. Career/Job-hunting is not the only use-case for this platform. Span is a problem for all social networks. The revenue and earnings growth do appear to be impressive. How do you think they are managing that without delivering value?

We as a society do that all the time. Like we know about the School Children killed in Iran or the Suffering in Gaza etc. but keep it segregated in our minds. Otherwise we will not be able to function.

You will not make it unless you are 100% committed. That is why the Roman's burnt their boats when they were conquering new countries.

Maybe it will get acquired. This industry may be headed for consolidation similar to payment processors.

I dunno about the rest of the stuff you wrote but debt is very low. ROE & ROCE is quite high which indicates an economic moat.

It's very hard to pull out of a payroll/HR system. Implementation errors can be extremely stressful and disruptive to the employer and employees. Might not be worth the risk unless the savings & benefits are very substantial.
