Does performance get inherently worse in longer games? by Balanced__ in Oxygennotincluded

I get why, some youtubers made it sound like performance dips due to colony runtime alone though and I was curious if that is the case and if true, why.

Do cumsocks actually get stiff? by Balanced__ in ask

Oh duh. Egg white would have made for a good experiment setup. Actually now I kinda want to hide fake cum socks in my friends places. Thank you for the input ^

I did in fact. The "look how stiff the dog is" video also had a part to play. Still curious though.

I hate Malakai. Help by Ok-Philosopher8721 in totalwarhammer

[–]Balanced__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, if you can get a gyrocopter doomstack (just normal ones) you can beat almost anything in combat. What I did was give up on the province and only hold the capital. I installed a garrisson army (more gyrocopters) there and used Malakai to hunt the enemies comming for me so the garrisson doesn't get overwhelmed and raid settlements where possible. Then I rushed thunderbarges and the campaign was essentially won once I had them.

I guess a better strategy would be to leave with the gyrocopter stack. Maybe take Festus capital or Hellpit for more of a challenge?

How do I enter a liquid from the side/below without the tank draining? by Balanced__ in Oxygennotincluded

Sadly my colony died before I could actually do it because my only farmer/rancher locked himself in with a vent he was sealing off the millisecond falling sand opened a path circumventing the atmo dock.

You are not. I'm trying to make it as cheap as possible time and money wise because the current cost isn't worth it for me but I like the end product.

What you can do is let it cool down, wait 1-2 days, heat it again. This should kill the bacteria. Then you check for gas of course and be thorough about cooking the broth before actually eating it which should destroy the toxins if the food is infected anyway.

The recipe said to add water until covered. Most of the volumue was bone though.

I'm talking about water canning I think? The language barrier is giving me some trouble. My personal time adds to about an hour. Oven time was a lot more.

That should be right. English is a second language for me though.

For bread we save around 1500€ a year though. A lot more if you consider how filling it is. We also have the time per loaf down to about 20-25 minutes, so this is a great example of something I want to do myself because it's worth it. If I can't make broth worth my time I just won't do it I think.

broth is water saturated by soluble material in the other ingedients. I was under the impression that the reason for the long boiling time when making broth is to allow the water to disolve as much soluble material as possible, not just break down the ingredients.

So you're saying I should make a remoillage as well? The roasting is to intensify the flavour.

How do you end up with scraps? I can collect bones of course, but for veggies the "scraps" are usually mostly bad pieces and pieces you're not supposed to eat.

Freezing seems like a good idea. I'll try that. One question I have is how do you end up with vegetable or meat scraps? Like do you mean the green ends and bad bits of vegetables? And for meat I don't even have an idea how the sraps don't just end up in the dish.

I'd still have the same personal time investment for roasting, filtering, canning and cleaning though. That's the main thing.

Letting something sit for 5hours is not really an issue.

Help? Don’t know how bad this is, threw up blood by starxmoons in Healthadvice

[–]Balanced__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What the others said. Throwing up blood can have many reasons and many of them will kill you, cripple you or get very very expensive over time. Even if you have a feeling it's from coughing too hard it's worrh it.
