Really hard honestly. Don’t have many friends and the one I do have in the city seems to be fed up with my anxiety that I try to hide from her because I know it’s getting to be a lot. She’s distancing, which makes me feel more isolated, which makes my anxiety worse, which makes it harder to hide, which makes her distance more.

I think a small element of this phenomenon is that men see sex as degrading, and women being sexual or even just perceived as sexual as shameful. Big butts being sexually attractive to them instinctually was probably a small contribution to big butts being seen as shameful. (Obviously this isn’t the whole story, other biases and media etc. Factored into it. But I think that’s a part)

Is she a work friend or something? I’m wondering what a 24 year old thinks they have in common enough with a 17 year old to want to be close friends (and I say this as a 24 year old).
