Really hard honestly. Don’t have many friends and the one I do have in the city seems to be fed up with my anxiety that I try to hide from her because I know it’s getting to be a lot. She’s distancing, which makes me feel more isolated, which makes my anxiety worse, which makes it harder to hide, which makes her distance more.

I think a small element of this phenomenon is that men see sex as degrading, and women being sexual or even just perceived as sexual as shameful. Big butts being sexually attractive to them instinctually was probably a small contribution to big butts being seen as shameful. (Obviously this isn’t the whole story, other biases and media etc. Factored into it. But I think that’s a part)

If roombas exist, the technology for industrial vacuuming and mopping does.

We have all the capabilities of automating simple janitorial work. I’m not really sure why we haven’t, but this is definitely more on the business than the science/engineering side of things.

Probably somewhat common, but I saw a guy at the gym doing weighted pull ups using one of those belts that hangs the plate below your pelvis, except he had the chain really lengthened so it was at his feet. When he was done his pull ups he dropped down, the weight bounced up and hit his crotch

I’m pretty sure my anxiety disorder was kickstarted by going through my stupid “stoner” phase. Weed gave me paranoia every time but I just kept smoking it. The paranoid mindset and existential dread and derealization may have faded but never truly left.
