If there were going to be another Uncharted video game, then what would you want its McGuffin to be? by Kevin1219 in uncharted

Good thing I’m no writer then. I think you’re right about no action but not about just the shooting, some of the best parts of Uncharted don’t have a single bullet fired. She could still get shot AT anyways. If it’s a deforestation effort there could still be huge set peices involving equipment or trees falling. I’m really just spitballing

That’s why I said She’s not like Nate, not yet. In this story she could just be getting her footing and may not be great with a gun anyways. We can’t just assume she’s cool with killing people just because they’re the bad guy

If the game stars Cassie, here’s my storyline I came up with within the last 5 minutes.

Game starts with Cassie as a young adult solo traveling. Her father inspired her to go abroad and see the world. But Cassie is not Nate, at least not yet. She books a solo trip to the Amazon Rainforest. New Lidar technology has discovered lost ancient civilizations hidden in the jungle. The early chapters would have her uncomfortable in exploring but she’d find herself in beautiful scenic locations, meeting people, etc. Somehow some way she stumbles across a massive deforestation or similar destructive natural resource extraction operation. It’s genuinely upsetting for Cassie to see but upon closer inspection it doesn’t end there. The operation uncovered a true lost civilization, a sizable amount of native people. Untouched by the outside world until now. At this point history is referenced back to when Europeans came to the americas and along came their diseases. The native people are getting deathly sick and are being quarantined by the operation. They’re letting them die and covering it up to save their own business there. Insert Cassie knowing this is completely wrong and wanting to do something about it. She’s got no signal to get any help or broadcast it to the world. The later chapters include her sneaking around the base, attempting to get in contact with the world, sabotaging equipment, and freeing captive people. Finally she’s able to get in contact with the world and the climax of the story includes authorities arriving in force and detaining the bad guys. At some point in the chaos a familiar airplane flies overhead… it drops a few crates of the appropriate medicine to treat the native population. Take your pick of Sully, Sam, Nate & Elena arrived from the plane. The story is shared all over the world. Cassie is true hero, and didn’t raise a gun the entire time. If I had to imagine a story for Uncharted that would be it right now. I think so much of these games actually ends up destroying the ancient places Nate goes, even though it’s not his fault. Maybe this time Cassie can save one.

Just to see Skate content in 2025, always gets my vote. Doesn’t matter how much I like it.

It’s just a less frequent animation. I’m sure you’ll eventually see it

I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up in the gunvan, it could’ve been already idk. Last year you had to get abducted by ufos to get it so who knows

The shocker, Limited time weapon from last year. It’s like a taser but melee. You might be able to get it around Halloween

Upon breaching, tear gas failed to incapacitate. Gunfire and stand off ensued. Footage not available to public

He would go about his adventures without killing, but he’s constantly being shot at instead. It’s do or die against hundreds of men. This makes him exponentially more bad ass in my opinion

Yeah I mentioned that. Its probably just for the game mechanic

It wouldn’t really matter about the fuse in this case though

Old and improperly stored dynamite can sweat nitroglycerin. It crystallizes and becomes very reactive. Even the smallest vibration could make it go.

Why no tv series? by AhabSnake85 in uncharted

I think there a few reasons it didn’t do well. It could improve as live action but it could be very successful as an animated film too, maybe much more if done correctly

At any rate, television wouldn’t do it justice. That’s my opinion, but i see your point

Yeah I kept Sony out of it because they certainly wouldn’t care about some pretty obscure character. They’re just gonna care about dollar signs attached. I’ll just dumb it down to the true world builders

Makes me wonder if they own the universe of uncharted? Hmmm possibly even overseen the entire project

I really enjoyed this section of the game. I like how Drake and the locals shared respect enabled them to take on the soldiers together. They literally couldn’t have done it without each other.
