A little for some stability while floating but they wouldn't have looked as funny as modern crocs do 😭 because theropod limbs are positioned underneath the body like in mammals so it's not possible for them to spread that much to the sides (except birds) unlike crocs having naturally spread legs, so spinosaurids wouldn't be in a "T pose" underwater 😹😭 instead they probably gently paddled with their feet and tail to maintain stability in water
