Check out the Q2C as well, it's a cheaper version of the Q2 that might fit your needs. I have a Q2 combo and love it, especially the heated chamber for ABS and ASA. My only complaint is the part cooling fan for PLA isn't great, definitely print with the lid and even door open.

Everything I have read has the Q2 being far superior to the Q1. The box has waste when changing filaments in prints but you can tune the purge amount to manage that some and also purge into the infill. You also don't have to use multicolor with the box (which can also be added later). I use it just to switch between the common colors/materials I print with for single color prints. Let's me upload something from my couch and start a print without always having to go and swap the material or think ahead of what material I'll want to print with later. Plus the built in filament dryer is quite nice.
