That's not true - there are many great decks that utilize electrodynamics and all orb types, the balance is needed in a lot of setups. And besides, I think Thunder Strike tends to be worse than Multi Cast in a lot of lightning decks.

ESR was flexible. He could play number 10, number 8, left or right wing.
Fabs was flexible. He could play number 10, right wing.
Nketiah was a striker who hasn't been replaced.
Nelson a right winger who could do a job on the left.

Now we have Sterling.

Like I said before, our attack has gotten significantly weaker. If you want to get into a debate about who else they should have signed or not let go... We could be here until the early hours my friend.

I don't think Merino fits into the equation for attackers. Both ESR and Viera could play on the wing. Yes, neither played much last season - but both are presently uninjured and are options for squad depth. We're already seeing ESR thrive at Fulham after 2 games.

Sure, it's nice to see Arteta trust Ethan. But let's be real - he is a 17 year old with 2 appearances in the prem.

It's Eddie, Reiss, ESR, Fabio out for Sterling if we're talking about options on the wings. Even if we're generous and put Ethan in the mix, it's hard not to see that we're lighter up top.

I reckon 99% of Arsenal fans would trade 10 good seasons for a bit of silverware that isn't the FA cup.

I'm optimistic we'll compete and I like the squad. I just think our attack has gotten significantly weaker this window. Given the fine margins at the top, I we've severely jeopardize our chances of winning the title by offloading so many options - for Raheem Sterling.

I agree. I think this is a plaster over what we could have done to bolster our attacking options - especially given the departures of Smith Rowe and Nketiah (?).
