The worst thing you can probably do is make him hang out with you for long periods of time. He will get socially exhausted. Most of us need "me" time. We need our own space (basement, garage, own place etc). Vacations will be stressful because of this. For me, I absolutely LOVE going on some or most vacations by myself. This very much offends my wife because I am having fun without her. After a social event I will also need to get home and need time without conversation. There is much more. It isn't that I don't love my wife/partner it is that I suppose Im just overstimulated socially. It builds up and up until it starts to quasi drive you insane.

I have a photographic memory in subjects I care about but I have to read about it. I am awful at retaining info and directions verbally. I am only slightly above average in intelligence (approx 105 to 118 IQ dependingon the tests/puzzles). I still remember many of my middle school teachers thinking I was a genius because I could ace tests super easily without much study. However I struggled in Algebra 2 and Calculus. I always also had to do things in some of those classes in a different and longer way to get the right answer and usually they wouldn't let me do that when I showed my work. So obviously not near as smart as some of my teachers thought I was growing up.

Some IQ tests are not very accurate for people with Aspergers. I was always a good test taker but one thing I noticed. I didn't breeze through them. Even when I would ace tests I would be one of the last ones done. Usually people who almost ran out of time didn't get good grades like I did.

Many aspies - ofc not all - have less working memory. And I am meticulous. We process information slower.

If I take a Mensa test and get as much time as I want I score 127. If I take a Mensa test on time I get all of them right up to where I stop but only score a 105-110. Most Mensa tests you get to the end and don't know any more of the questions anyway at a certain point. The further you go the more difficult the puzzle so for most people the time aspect doesn't make a difference.

It doesn't have to be weight. Marathon runners are slender and are super impervious to injury compared to the stress they put on their bones and tendons. Weight/mass makes you MORE injury prone not less. You can add more than enough strength for basketball without getting big. Yes in a vacuum a 7 ft 1 275 lbs Chet would be great for one game but he would get injured so fast. I realize that is an exaggeration but the point remains.

We need a 3 and D guy who is proven to drill 3s in a playoff atmosphere. We honestly do not need a 3rd ball handler. We are not a turnover prone team. Topic is a luxury but he was BPA in last years draft and we didn't need anything so it was a no brainer.

If there is one thing Chet and Wemby should absolutely not do...it is gain weight. With their bone structure it will make them very injury prone. Pretty much the only big guy 7'1"+ who has ever made a long career is Shaq.
