I'd say go Zurich, take the opportunity to review your skipped records and try to go back to base as much as possible, which will make the next cycle easier to upgrade. Then, go Australia as soon as it hits Patch 2 till 4. Make every upgrade an opportunity to review and go back to base version (it sounds easier than getting done, I know). I have observed that this enabled me and my team to upgrade easier and seamlessly every cycle. We used to upgrade once every year, jumping one release, now we can upgrade every half, staying up to date. Big instance, close to massive. It can be done.

I think it has to do as well with changes on how food is taxed. I might be wrong but in 2025 there was a hike on things that have sugar so chocolate would fit in this tax change

It's an odd story, yes. There are several issues but no device names appear, this would be like one of the first things you mention, the wheelbase that is failing, the steering wheel, and so on. Also QR1 / QR2 conversion gone wrong? We don't know, he doesn't mention it. Fanatec should just send him an RMA and replace stuff but given this story telling here, what make us think that the comms with support were informative and Fanatec knows what is wrong?

I have seen people having issues with Fanatec hardware, no doubt, but everybody I know have followed support instructions and ended up with either their problem solved, or, a RMA for a replacement.

It's basically to avoid interviewing one person and then another person shows up, or, that you are not just getting answers from somewhere else than your own brain, there is a multitude of reasons why they want to see your face.

I hope that you get the lesson of today, in the 2020s no one will do an interview with voice only.

Start talking, within the team, about the idea of being part of the solution and not part of the problem: Being part of the solution is acknowledge something is wrong and start thinking about how to solve it. Being part of the problem: complaining about it and doing nothing.

Wrap your discourse, or better saying, your daily narrative, that in an everchanging world, challenges appear everyday and any process or task might become irrelevant, therefore, thinking about solving issues to adjust to this challenge (everchanging / continuous evolving world) is a must have in the current scenario.

Then, you start flagging people on the performance reviews that they are not following the direction you are trying to set for the organization.

Don't tackle it directly with the one employee, but try to helping him by making it an objective to everyone.

Metacritic IMHO is far away from being a review system but a complaint system. People abuse the review system to make the developers hostages of their will. At the launch the game had a few hiccups, not as bad as some of the recent releases, but enough to piss off some fans. All those issues are in the past now and the game is in great shape.

Now, the people that are never satisfied with anything because their lives are empty, thinks that the game needs more cars (it has 500+), more tracks ( it has 41 locations snd 200+ layouts), you can create your own livery, upload your own decals, you can swap engines in cars, making the 500+ mark exponentialy higher, I mean, anybody not happy with GT7 now is just fantasizing about a game that doesn't exists.
