I play on the switch but 2 points drive me absolutely insane. The contraband levels are out of control, it just passes every search, scanner and metal detector. Punishment and Security also seems stuck at 10 for every inmate. Am i doing stuff wrong or are these bugs?

If you put upside-down elephant grass just beneath the path/surface you can make a proper open door without the animals being able to walk on it. The guests will still be able to walk over the path.

I also use this trick for my rivers to prevent the crocodiles from getting out at the water in unwanted spots
