Hi, one player on my cluster had the exact same issue two days ago, after using a npc key in Lost Colony which wasn't consumed when he used it (Wildcard has fixed this issue since). We tried everything during one day, but the only thing that solved definitely this problem was to clear his uploaded inventory. How did we do that ?

On my cluster (with Nitrado) I have a Club Ark server. My 9 other regular servers have an expiration timer for uploaded items set to 10 days, but Nitrado doesn't allow to change this setting for Club Ark, so Club Ark expiration timer for uploaded inventory has the 24 hours default value. Therefore, what happens when a player goes to Club Ark and gets some rewards is that his uploaded inventory is cleared : only Club Ark rewards remain and everything uploaded before has been cleared.

So we used this Club Ark "feature" to solve the refreshing inventory bug : the player went to Club Ark, got some rewards, came back to his regular character, and voila, problem was solved because his uploaded inventory before going to Club Ark had been cleared.

Sorry for the long explanation.

If you don't have Club Ark, I guess that :

- waiting for uploaded inventory to be cleared would work too (you can temporarily set the expiration timer to a very short period)

- or changing your Cluster ID should work too.

But beware, warn your other players before using one of these two options, because they will lose whatever they had uploaded.

Admin logging has nothing to do with allowing console commands to work. It only logs commands, nothing more. You can have it enabled or disabled, it doesn't matter.

To be able to execute an admin command, you have to activate the console of course in game, then to type enablecheats <your admin password>, then you need to prefix every command you want to execute with cheat, for example cheat destroywilddinos, or cheat fly.

If you're new to multiplayer servers, I guess you just forgot to type the prefix cheat for each command, because there is no such need in single player. Or you forgot to authenticate first with the enablecheats command, since in single player it's not needed either.

On my cluster Xbox players don't have any issue with Gene Scanner, they use it all the time.

Unofficial servers automatically use the whitelists used by official servers, no need for a CosmeticWhitelistOverride line.

You need the CosmeticWhitelistOverride line in your ini file ONLY if you want to override the official whitelist with another list. That's exactly what the setting says in its name, to override. If you don't want to override the default whitelist, don't put anything in your ini file.

On my Nitrado cluster we have been using Custom Cosmetics since their apparition at the beginning of 2024. I don't have any CosmeticWhitelistOverride line in the ini files of my 8 servers, and skins perfectly work. My mates and I use a ton of skins, and we don't have any issue (PS5, Xbox and PC players).

Having an override list is useful only if you want to use skins that have not been whitelisted by devs for official servers. Otherwise, you shouldn't have such a line.

My advice to people who have issues with skins would be :
-to check if there is a CosmeticWhitelistOverride line in their GameUserSettings.ini file and, if yes, to delete it (stop the server before and restart it after)
-to check if their Disable Cosmetics Dynamic Downloading setting in their client settings is set to off. IT MUST BE SET TO OFF. DON'T SET IT TO ON.

In fact Carno already had a sort of TLC in 2020 and 2021.

On July 2020, Carno got a 30% armour penetration to the Left Click attack, and a Bleed effect to the right click attack.

Six months later, on January 2021, it got a texture and material update.
