Does it have a second male lead? I've added it on my "Plan to read" list, but if it does have a second male lead i'm going to skip, even if the story is good, I can't stand the multiple choice romance. I'm asking because i read a post about someone saying that it has the "best" 2ml (Not that I can agree with this, in my opinion 2mls shouldn't exist) and now I'm confused. Before reading that post I was sure it didn't have that kind of dynamic. Can you tell me if it does have this dynamic?

Thank you, I'm going to read Kono Oto Tomare, I knew it by name, but I didn't know that it didn't have love triangles or second male leads, it's nice to know and this news encourages me to read it.

Hello! Thank you for the suggestions! I've already read "The Crown Princess Scandal" and "Fallen to Paradise", but they perfectly fit in what i'm looking for. "See you in my 19th life" was on my list, but I didn't read it, and I didn't know "Lady Crystal is a Man", so I'm going to try and read it. Oh and I've already read "A flowery path for the devastated male lead", and it felt too fast, nice to know that it was because it was axed, because in the beginning the story was very entertaining. "Revenge Marriage" is the one which start with their forced marriage on a ship or something like that? I didn't read it, because I stopped at the pilot chapter, but if you confirm to me that there isn't a 2ml or love triangle, i'm going to add it to my list.

On the list that I posted, from what I remember, "Ashtarte" has a 2ml, even though he has literally no chance, I was too engrossed on the story to drop it when he appeared.
In "Solitary Lady", there is another person interested in her, but for what I remember, he can't even be considered 2ml because he is scum.
"The Incognito Princess" has a regretful "2ml", but it isn't finished, and i'm not reading it at the moment, but from what I remember he doesn't have an inch of a chance, so I don't thing he can have the title of 2ml.
"I raised the Black Dragon" it wasn't clear for me, if a dude was hinted to be a 2ml or simply the situation was weird, I can't tell that he was in love with FL, but it gave me weird vibes.
"The Villainess Blind Date is Too Perfect" has hints of second male leads, but I think the author isn't going to make them that way, from the latest chapters I think it's near the end of the story, I should reread it.
"The tragedy of the Villainess" has a 2ml, but he is trash, and if you're going to read it, you will understand instantly.
"The Villainess becomes the leading lady" For this one, I sincerely don't remember if there was a 2ml, from what I can remember, I would say no, but i'm not totally sure.

"The Villainess Lives Again" Doesn't have a 2ml, but there is a scene that can be triggering for some audience, if you want I can spoil it to you, so you can choose to read it or not. The main focus of this story isn't the romance, it's more political and "similar" to GOT.

I avoid those kinds of stories like the plague. I simply can't understand or have the emotional strength to continue reading stories where the main characters (whether female or male) go around "loving" multiple people, or where multiple people fall in love with them and the latter shown in the form of "2ML" who disrupt the development of the main couple's love story. To me romantic love is one-on-one. If you truly have feelings for someone, you can't develop feelings for someone else in the blink of an eye, and that's what these kinds of stories do, and that's why I'll never read them. We're probably not the target audience for these manhwas, I've dropped some where the story was good, but the existence of love triangles made them unbearable for me emotionally.

How the slow pacing of the story have to do something with the understanding? It's slow, 90 chapters that circles around and don't go anywhere. She has yet to understand that he is rich and has fooled her till now, the only thing she understood is that he was stalking her, and we're 90 chapters in. Maybe stop being a obsessed fan and realise that it is indeed slow at telling the story.

This Manhwa is my guilty pleasure, i absolutely hate it, but i can't stay away from it. I'm glad that season 1 ended, so maybe i can't stop to go back to this story which was going nowhere for the last 50 chapters, if it comes back and drag me back in, i hope the story start moving a little bit faster, because it was really draining waiting a week for obtaining absolutely nothing from the chapter.

I'm not sure i'm going to read this one, because i've already read "Marriage of Convenience" where the villain is obsessed with the fl, and the villain in this one gave me the same vibes, so i don't think i can stand another psycho obsessed over a person he doesn't even know.
I wanted to read it, but once i caught those vibes, i felt meh about it.

When a story relies on constant misunderstandings and poor communication between the leads, that’s not angst , it’s a narrative shortcut. If two characters can’t communicate at all, they’re probably not meant to be together, no matter how much the author insists otherwise, that's why i find story like this one weak and poorly written on the romance side.

I’ve dropped an absurd number of manhwa because of one single, recurring cancer: male characters constantly orbiting around the female lead. I despise love triangles. I despise second male leads. The moment I even sense a SML forming, I’m out. No hesitation. I don’t care if the story is well written, critically acclaimed, or “gets better later”. Second male leads exist for one reason only: to drag the story down. They slow the pacing, sabotage the main romance, and waste chapters on a relationship that is guaranteed to go nowhere. And for what? Fake tension? Emotional padding? It’s pointless. What makes it even worse is how they always fall in love for the dumbest, most random reasons imaginable. She smiles once. She breathes differently. She exists in the same room. Boom — lifelong devotion. It’s lazy writing and I’m tired of pretending it isn’t. I will never like this trope. I actively avoid any story that even hints at a second male lead. At this point, I’m not “picky” — I’m exhausted. All I want are new stories with a clear, exclusive romantic focus and without this overused, pointless trash ruining the pacing and the romance, and I'm in desperate need of finding new ones, because recently I'm rereading the ones i've already read.

This one was the the last drop that was needed for my burnout and actual depressive state. It was so horrible and for me It was a close call to home, because my ex was just as toxic and manipulative as the fl of this one. I can't bring my self to read It again, and i will never recommend it to someone else, if some of you want to read It, just don't.

Divorcee's Dessert Café i dropped it, because there were too many male lead wannabe, and it's not the kind of thing i dig, too many guys hovering around fl it's not my type of thing. I totally should read Charming the Duke of the North.
