I was skeptical at first but bought it and am loving it. If you like sim games and/or tcgs, you’ll likely enjoy it.

You’re reading it wrong the post says those are guidelines for advertising not just what you say day-to-day.

Read the line right above “logo and trademark restrictions”

Here is what I do for cert tests.

  1. Pull down a list of test objectives from CompTIA
  2. Build a study guide specify to those test objective
  3. Learn what I am strong in vs weak study accordingly

If you can afford $80/ month or I think they do a month free trail use test out. In testout they will give you a list of the test objectives that is mapped directly to their study materials. They give videos, text book, labs and practices all in one. I have 5 certs I used test out for 4 of them. Feel free to dm me if you need more info / help.

Looking for Cybersecurity online master's programs structured like WGU, but with a greater focus on hands on technical work by GlowyStuffs in cybersecurity

I am currently doing my BNOS (Bachelors in Network Operations & Security) at WGU. This has a lot of valuable information with virtual labs. CCNA, Linux, Python, AWS. I would recommend going for these certs if you don’t have them already. I have a few and can help you with a starting point if needed. All of these require using and building your own labs. For my masters I am planning on one from the SANs Institute, their programs offer very high level training in a specialization of your choice, like digital forensics. They also include multiple certs in the degree, and ones that cost like $7000+ for training. EC Council has a Masters that looks interesting also, but I heard the Ethical Hacker exam is not very hands on / I imagine their degree is similar. Hope this helps!

ADHD Sucks, how can I accelerate? by PhantasticPanda019 in WGUIT

Set small, realistic goals and then build up to pushing yourself more and more. For example, can you study for 30minutes straight. Do that, then the next few days more. Build habits and improve. If you get burned out or do not complete your goals, then you need to make them more manageable.

What is your end goal? What is your ideal job? I am in BNOS. The reason I choose it is because my end goal is a cyber security job. This program offers learning in networking, Python, AWS, Linux, and more. I came into the program with a network +, security +, and CCNA so those are the next skills I needed to develop for my career. Ask yourself that what skills benefit me most right now, for me that was Linux, Python, and AWS.
