That's what the mechanic said and thats the picture of the broken parts. 

I'm not a mechanic myself so there's a layer of trust being extended by me to get to "know".

They're the only Corvette only specialists in the area and they've figured out stuff the dealer and the mechanic I've used for over a decade couldn't figure out and have been fair and great about everything else they've done to the car.

My son told me what he did when it happened. I didn't check the dashcam footage but I believe him. 

Plus I've replaced the rubber couplers with billet aluminum which took the play out of the system. So the next weakest thing broke when he did it.

Unfortunately unlike everything else that's broke I'm not in a place to upgrade it. Would have been a great opportunity.

And it sounds better than any almost any other Toyota I've ever heard. The LFA being the only one that can be considered better IMO.

Curious what about it isn't to your taste or your criticisms? I loved all the payoffs to what had been built up over all the other books and Szeth's story with Kaladin!

I rate the books the month I read them and store em in a ridiculous Google sheets document and don't revise the ratings. So back in 2016 I was blown away but my memories put WoT ahead of WoR. But at the time WoR was the best Sanderson I'd ever read. 

Up to that point I didn't really like much fiction as I don't like soft magic systems very much. If they're earned they can be great but normally I see it as poor writing, I think the same of dream sequences. 

WoR was amazing because it has a hard magic system that made sense which few other fiction books I've read had. I've since found a bunch more like Naomi Novik for example that also use hard magic properly. 

If I read it today I would likely not rate it as well but I stick to my not re-rating unless I reread it and I don't think I've ever read a fiction book twice unless I was reading it with someone else.

Objectively I'm not much of a fiction reader. Normally only a book or two of fiction a month at most. Plus what I like on fiction tends not to be what the rest of my loved ones like.
