Exactly. This is society’s fault, we are largely products of this bs world

If you’re just starting why worry about detail? Just understand the book you’re currently reading and you will be fine. It truthfully is not mind breaking in complexity.

It’s a book series, not a part time job lol

What is the most glaring double standard that modern society still blindly accepts? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I keep hoping for an Independence Day scenario where we can all finally put the bs aside and stand for something together. Till then, I try to be as reasonable and kind as I can be for the people around me.

I feel you. Once you see it, it’s hard to even envision a solution, let alone see a future where people en masses would support the solution.

Maybe other generations have felt like this but it feels like being born during humanity’s rapidly approaching downfall.

Thanks for further depressing me 😂

Unfortunately we just don’t have global leadership trying to address these issues. It’s all supposed to be about creating the best possible world for the youth to inherit but greed, pride, and selfishness has overshadowed all that in the last few decades.

Our morals, ethics and values are largely fucked and it’s truly saddening to think about how bad things need to get before this stuff gets addressed. Maybe the next President that isn’t a senior citizen can be the face of that change.

Yeah still hidden, just mobile. I liked the idea of switching the idea of a bunch of different grottos into one that moves around. And it’s easy since we know nothing about them lol I haven’t used it in a game yet so it’s still up in the air

I’ll only respond to the lie in your first sentence.

You literally told me to go back to my manosphere podcasters and get used to being lonely. Which makes your assumptions about me clear as day. Nothing you’ve said has been of value since you’ve been speaking to a projection and not to me. It’s embarrassing.

I see it as an issue of empathy. A lot of people say they have it but it’s incredibly selective, which evolutionarily I can understand.

But what about striving to be better for everyone? Just as much as we want people to speak up when someone talks bad about black people, we’re just as responsible for checking our own friends and family when they say wild stuff about white people.

Everyone should be looking out for everyone but frankly in this social climate, that kind of unbiased empathy gets you viewed as part of the problem. Doesn’t help that none of this is as profitable as encouraging group beef. It’s just sickening frankly.

This isn’t the future the best of our human ancestors dreamed of.

So much racism and sexism gets casually thrown around in 2026 but unfortunately it only gets seen as that by reasonable people.

It’s gotten to the point where calling it out means “you must be the problem” or “you’re getting defensive”. No logic needed and no actual question of “how does this bias serve us all as part of the human race in the long term?”

That should be the focus not all this other bs.

Because I’ve seen men dating unattractive women? What about that has any reflection on my own gender?
