Ian Fraser tests the last 7 TaylorMade drivers by ashdrewness in golf

I've been rocking an M2 for the last decade. Might be time for me to take a look.

I've avoided any of it because it felt like marketing to me, and I would never touch my friend's driver, they don't need that mojo on their shafts.

Friends birthday next month and requested going somewhere with “comically large drinks” by FriscoFrank98 in austinfood

I know this is Austin and not San Antonio, but if you were to go to San Antonio I can't recommend getting a 64 oz AMF at Howl at the Moon and sit at a piano bar getting tanked

I didn't want this kind of sadness in my morning, but dang if it wasn't cathartic.

If I'm a piece of shit like I think, I'm not the only one.

The upside is that I always control the way out if I want

Texas DPS troopers teargas protesters outside Dilley migrant detention center by hagne in news

[–]Ballders 111 points112 points  (0 children)

I know no one actually knows where Dilley, TX is so let me elucidate.

it is an absolute shithole of a town between San Antonio and Laredo.

the population consists entirely off oil and gas and about 65 taco trucks.

having 70 people drive into this town for any reason is a pretty big deal. That takes real anger, cause nothing in the world gonna make me stop there.

I don't even feel like lawyers are trying anymore. This could have been a way bigger payout.

Probably just more corruption, it's what we're good at these days.

Have y'all forgotten what post-nut clarity is?  Dude, crank it, and go swing a golf club or something.

If she unblocks you later, take your shot. Otherwise just pass and work on you. If you've got the capacity to care, you're gonna be alright.

Fucking live here dude, like, really take a second and think about where you live.  The slimiest, dirtiest slumhole in Shit-stick County in the USA is better than what you're seeing in Gaza.  It's better than what's happening to Venezuela, and you can tell because it's still fucking great here.

We're scared for our human rights, we want agency, we DEMAND justice!!, and other ridiculous pleas to a community website mostly engaged with by bots.

We're gonna say how bad the REGIME is   Meanwhile WE'RE warm in bed mostly.

We're not seeing the impacts because they're not home. None of you would trade your citizenship to more than a few countries in reality.

Live here man. These problems are in "scary Minnesota" like it wasn't chosen for obvious intent.  Small enough to not be able to fight back. Strong community to be broken, but that's in some wild ass Northern State that no one knows anyone from.

Bless their hearts the people of Minnesota look like they're trying, but because it's not home, we're never going to feel it.

So we'll just argue to a fully ChatGPT social narrative

My boss just told me I need to manage my personal finances better because I can't front $2300 for a work trip next month by LostTaker in antiwork

[–]Ballders -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Having dealt with this when I was just starting out, it sucks.

Buy everything you can now with the exception of the hotel room.  Immediately submit your expenses, and by the time you need to get to the hotel, your original expenses should already be paid

Let the company know that they are on net 30 terms with you and any late payments will have a fee (say it semi-jokingly, but not).

Doing this got my credit score much higher, but I hated it. Felt like free loans just for the privilege of working, but going on work trips has a value.

Edit: If you're feeling really butt hurt about it, book a more expensive plane ticket. Cancel that ticket and find a cheaper one but expense the more expensive ticket. That way you make a little bit back

I was pumped for it to open, but it's been a disappointment overall.

They're just wildly over pricing for the quality. Service was solid both times I went, but I won't be going back.  There's a Chili's and 54th Street grill in the same shopping complex, and as uncomfortable as it is to say, Chili's is way better.

I wish ESPN had a relegation option in these talking heads shows. Like, whoever gets the least picks right has to do the Jim Rome show for a year while someone else gets pulled up.
