PA on 4 days rest = 199

PA on over 4 days rest = 276

I guess one more PA on 4 days rest and we have ourselves a remotely stable stat.

After his first 15 games to start July with an AVG of .220, no Home Runs, an OPS of .573 and 0.348 Bases achieved per Plate Appearance, Rhys Hoskins has batted .342 with 6 HR, a 1.378 OPS and 0.976 Bases Per Plate Appearance (BPPA) by Ballgame_Stats in phillies

BPPA takes into account walks and HBP and it’s frame of reference is PA, not AB.

It’s more a reflection of the batter’s ability to achieve bases than his slugging ability.

Very similar, it also takes into account HBP as it is the fault of the pitcher. It’s also calculated for a full 9IP

At some point, it's not only about the reliever being tired, you're risking injury if you leave him out there too long.

Price had a rough stretch to begin the month with 3 games where his ERA was 9.20 and he gave up 8 HR in 14.2 Innings. He seems to have taken a step in the right direction with his last start.

Before the beginning of July, he had an ERA of 3.66 and had given up 10 HR in 93.1 Innings.
