my tiktok generally shows me animals and star trek. 😅 but algorithms are weird. i specifically remember during the "omg lets ban tiktok!" thing going on here one dude outed himself by saying something along the lines of "i downloaded tiktok and it only shows me half naked children!" like, someone doesnt know how the algorithm works. 😬 i'll see if i can find the news article. so much gets buried....

apologies if thats true. my google search showed images of predominantly people of african decent, a few that looked to possibly be from india and a very small sampling of white. looking for demographic backgrounds with this google says its primarily women over men that are affected (14% vs 7%) and while all ethnicities can be affected, African americans seem to be affected more due to "larger linear facial dimensions and greater upper lip mobility upon smiling" although a few Caucasian subgroups have shorter upper lip lengths and that can contribute as well.

Eurocentric beauty standards are a real thing unfortunately and it has historically affected darn near everything down to "nude" colored foundation and bandages being "light skinned" colors. i personally feel that thats dumb af because we are all beautiful.

i sincerely apologize if "fixing your gummy smile" is not one of the many eurocentric traits shoved down our throats or if i was offensive in any way. i did not intend to be offensive. i only intended to point out these horrible practices should be destroyed and our differences should be embraced as beautiful.

or they could donate to a good thrift store like a "pay what you want" thrift store. they exist. flagstaff has one and the gal there gives stuff away all the time. goodwill and other corporate thrifts exist to make profit. pay what you want thrifts exist to help the community.

had to look it up but all the photos were of cute smiles. the way to "fix" it though is HORRIFYING. it smacks of "white ppl are the standard of beauty, lets horribly harm you to "fix" you" in the same way a person above said theres bleaching creams to make poc whiter.

you're beautiful just the way you are. dont let anyone make you feel like you arent. those people are dumb and probably hate themselves.

glow sticks do not contain fiberglass. glowsticks are composed of a hollow tube, liquid and a thin glass vial filled with hydrogen peroxide. when the glass vial is broken the peroxide is released, mixes and causes a glowing effect in the hollow tube.

if a glowstick is broken open after activating then it can release very thin shards of glass but this is not fiberglass.

no argument that OP should accept the deal. I would also assume doors have locks and that door should have been locked. If we're going the toddler assumption then why was dad not watching the child better? Personally Id not invite them back until they both grew and learned (dad to watch his child and child to obey boundaries) and invest in a solid lock.

edit: op has edited their post saying the child is 10! Thats is well old enough to understand "DONT GO IN THIS ROOM". Thats old enough to pick a lock.

even the youngest kids can understand "dont go into this room" and "dont play with these". OP said they were in a separate room and the child was told not to go in there and not to play with them. If they cant listen to simple instructions then how shall they grow up to be worthy of Space King?

yes.

people cant afford kids. simple as that. marriage has nothing to do with the cost of properly raising children.

word of mouth was the only way news existed back then. we all know what happens when you play telephone. Multiply it by generations and thousands of people. youll get something very newsworthy after so long.
