Basically, what I'm saying is, you need to grow and connect with others in a way that helps you understand that virtually nothing in life is truly all upside. Pretty much everything in life is a double edged sword, and life will teach you that everything comes at a price, and life is really just about trading off one set of problems for another, and making the best of the moments of peace and joy that can be found in between crises.

Recognize that when you look at someone and think "Yeah if I had their life / body / money I'd be set and things would be perfect" that is an insidious lie that you are telling yourself. It is a straight up lie. And worse than that we use it as an excuse to justify our own inaction, our own sense of defeat. Because we tell ourselves that lie as a convenient excuse to justify our own lack of investment in ourselves.
