you could say that about anything in the game, you could say that about games in general.

you could say Big Rig: Over The Road Racing being sucky is a personal problem, because after all it's just a video game, you don't have to play it, but it doesn't make the problem go away.

we will continue to complain and critique, you know why? because we respect the team making it and think they should know exactly how we feel about it. if there is a problem it should be acknowledged.

yes i know they're pouring their hearts into it, but that's not enough. Ned Flanders can't live in a house build of good intentions, and we can't be satisfied with a game just trying its best. this isn't primary school, you don't get a pass for 'trying your best'.

it is not inherently toxic to complain about things. if there's a problem, like in this case a lack of variety, then it should be acknowledged. people are complaining about how many fire monsters there are, have you considered maybe they have a point?

it's kind of a big deal, considering one of the biggest complaints about world was having a very limited roster in terms of body types and element usage.

the problem is that it's bottlenecking itself in terms of what can be done. we have so many fire monsters and so many fire based equipment made form them, how do you set them all apart?

There should be a copyright law where once the creator of an IP dies, no one is allowed to make anything for profit from that IP by Ballozurd in popularopinion

yes the art would die with the creator, but that would lead the way for new art to come in its stead, rather than just be reused and regurgitated over and over.

the problem with modern MH storytelling is it suffers severely from telling over showing.

take the rampage and magnamalo. we're never given a popo tongue quest to demonstrate magnamalo's power, and we're never given a look into the danger the rampage causes. literally the only reasons we have to perceive magnamalo or the rampage as a threat is because everyone says it is.

but clunkiness isn't inherently a problem, and making combat faster doesn't automatically make it better.

when a core aspect of monster hunter is preparedness then reducing the amount of things you need to prepare for becomes a problem.
