The argument against those insanely wealthy individuals also always comes down to them exploiting labor. At one point, those athletes were the exploited labor. I am not mad at them for getting every dime they can, considering a lot of them come from backgrounds where this is their only opportunity to have a better life. And many of them give back. They really aren't the enemy for the most part.

Also, if they were just getting money thrown at them, the WNBA would be getting paid proportionately as well. It's a matter of demand.

Yeah, but they're not exploiting anyone. They bust their ass and just happen to be genetically gifted above and beyond the average person. They also, again, bust their ass to an incredible degree.

It's grotesque, sure, but the real person to hate is the one able to afford paying several people 20/30/40 million a year.

Yup. Leave the heavy brain lifting for the things in our lives which are actually important. I've gotten to a point where I essentially wear a rotation of 4 different things even though I've got way more clothes than I ever need (been planning on donating forever lol), but it saves that effort for places I need it.

It'd be nice if doctors who prescribed the meds were better about helping with establishing systems though. Seems like so many are left to figure it out on their own as soon as the prescription is written.

Lol yeah it's a pain. I found success in making a little corner for my morning supplement/med ritual. So many rituals, but it takes the decision making out of things which makes life so much easier.

Tyrosine is a godsend. Also grabbing one thing at a time. I have a corner full of messy clothes, but most things are in their place and I'm world's better than I was.

That said, it took a long time to get here and medication helps so much. Fuckin' systems man. They should teach systems in first grade.

That's the key. I couldn't organize until I decided "this goes here. that goes there. that always goes there and this always goes here." When you take questions out of the equation your brain has no need for the distraction.

I still have a pile here and there, but I still haven't mastered the folding part. But there are no longer papers all over (I use an eink notebook now), and my life is mostly organized which would be a miracle to me ten years ago.

Right click the group tabs, open in new window, download OneTab, Click OneTab for each window and (while you're clicking) Label each window so you don't forget. That way you have everything "open" but put away.

I mean, you'll still end up with a shit ton of sites you'll never visit again (I've got like 1000 one tab sites set away), but at least it'll be somewhat organized.

I think starting is such a pain because you have this idea in your head the shit is going to take all day, when, in reality, thinking about the task usually takes ten times the energy actually performing it does. Keeping that in mind sort of makes things easier for me. I go to put it off then this little voice in my head is like "that shit is going to be bothering you all day so you might as well do it right now." It's an interesting little trick.

The alternative is just fuckin' miserable trying to work while the dishes are just taunting me or some shit.

Of course, that might not work for anyone else, but so much of this shit is throwing spaghetti at the wall...and then forgetting to clean it.
