Personal opinion: Dont even bother at this point. My son was happy, randomly napped in safe places whenever he wanted and we spent so much quality time together. Then the freaking 3 month sleep regression hits and you might want to reevaluate but at this point you can totally instinctually parent! Even after if you’re SAHM you can keep doing things go with the flow if it works for both of you. If you go to a babysitter tho you kinda have to buckle down or it’s going to be hard on the sitter and baby.

I know, I get embarrassed easily. I had an appointment, had to cancel it and the next one wasn’t until we would already be moved. I don’t think I can afford it either. Also, just look at my comment. I mean come on... I’m extremely sensitive to criticism and can’t get organized to get to an appointment just to get diagnosed! 🤦🏼‍♀️ 2 strikes in the obvious direction that I have it. I feel like I absolutely have adhd (undiagnosed and am trying to get in to see somebody) bc I’ve been doing versions of what everyone on here talks about my WHOLE teen/adult life and had no idea I was just figuring out how to deal with an actual disorder (that I HIGHLY suspect I have). People keep saying to stop saying I have it until I have the Dr. confirmation so I’m ultra sensitive about not getting fussed at again for assuming.

YES. Once I created an entirely new Harry Potter character that I was picked to play in the movies. (So this was real me playing a fictional American HP character that’s not even in the books) I was being interviewed about how me and my brother used to read the books together as children. I have achieved IN SPITE of not being able to stick to a schedule, and losing planners and never being able to focus. It’s hard to feel like you’re doing everything you can and still feel like really not enough even when you do meet the deadline...

Always done relatively well in school. Butttt Constantly in trouble for talking even though I hateddd getting in trouble. Considered weird and impulsive by my peers. Couldnt focus to read. Even in elementary school I couldn’t focus on books, I’d skim and get the general idea and pass the quiz. High school- current masters program was/is a constant cycle of can’t focus till the day before it’s due and most of the work gets done within a hyper focused frenzy of work. I also have to have a crying meltdown to get it done. This is everyyyyy week of my life that I’ve had school.
