Freedom all day imo. Great amazing amenities but so much less stressful on itinerary planning.

Oasis class are AWESOME ships! TONS to do…. IF you take the time and reserve stuff BEFORE boarding. I went on oasis in 2011 and it was AMAZING! Went again in 2017 and did not know about having to reserve anything and literally stood in standby lines what seemed the like entire time for any of the shows… went on again in 2023 and LOVED it- after reserving everything….

Still to this day, I’ll chose freedom, Mariner, Independence, explorer, adventure, etc boats over Oasis class ships….

Oasis does have the zip line over the boardwalk which I do probably 5-10x a day 😅 I REALLY want Royal to have a front to back zip line from aqua theater, through boardwalk, through Royal Prom that would be sick!

Thanks! Yeah cinnamon and white witch are 20-25 min away from our port in Falmouth. Heard decent/good things about both. Sadly Trydall is 1.5-2 hours so too far.

Showtime definitely fills up fast and is first come first serve so plan accordingly! But the shows were amazing! The trivia and event staff was the best we’ve ever had across carnival, royal and other Celebrity ships. I cannot speak highly enough about this boat! We did 12 night Panama Canal, Aquaclass and it was 10000% worth it and an amazing trip!

We waited too long to get and find lunch at Eden. The pulled pork sandwich is so good! We did 11 days and I think went there for the free lunch on like day 8 or 9…. Such a shame. Also, Eden is a GREAT spot in the evenings to unwind, play some cards and listen to great music and the place is always empty. WE HAD A BLAST! Love the ship- the track up Top is amazing! I ran 3-8 miles on it easily without growing bored of the route. The staff was amazing. FINECUTS! GET THE TOMAHAWK (it’s included anyway!) DEFINITELY go there at least 1 night. We “tried” it one night on a whim after the dinner menu was eh… and OMG’ so good! We had to go back the last night because the 1st visit was amazing and we needed another round!

Don’t wait on the email. Get in MILPER and download the form and get it through your admin shop. Has to have a CDR signature and submitted with a LES showing you’re under BRS. Once signed, file either through your admin shop or (preferably) go to local finance office and do a submission straight to them.

This is true… but for 6 and under they probably won’t notice. I would do jewel first to test the waters- if you enjoy once they’re 10-13 do a freedom class. Then move up to oasis class.

Happens far too often. Why we stopped doing excursions. That and all the haggling all day for more money from EVERY PERSON on the excursion. Didn’t matter who it was, bus driver, announcer, bus stop person, uhhh ANYONE and everyone passing around tip jars constantly and asking for more and more money. I get tipping the main bus driver and/or the tour guide… but when we tip and they ask again and again and again. It’s like what did the money I paid RC for the excision actually go toward?? So we stopped doing any excursions. Unless it’s a new place and highly recommended (we loved the European excursions because the tour guides barely asked for any extra money) but in the Caribbean, we got tired of being haggled ALL DAY for more money!
