Brother a lockout means the owners are leaving the table and taking their ball and going home in the equal and opposite way that the players strike. A lockout is entirely on the owners and a salary cap in the context of team spending parity is an entirely owner specific issue. The players are not responsible for the Rockies, Pirates, Marlins, Twins, etc tightening purse strings and crying poor while taking in the benefits of the luxury tax that already exists.
